Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs may be found in the newbie area at +600, +135.

You say, 'Hail, Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs'

Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'Are you interested in taking a [test] of your Tradeskill Ability?'

You say, 'What test?'

Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'I can give you a test of your tradeskill abilities in any of eleven different tradeskills. I can test you on [alchemy], [baking], [brewing], [fletching], [jewelry] making, [poison] making, [pottery], [smithing], spell [research], [tailoring], or [tinkering].'

You say, 'Jewelry.'

She will assign you a task dependent on your skill. The levels appear to be Beginner (50-99), Apprentice (100-149), Freshman (150-199), Journeyman (200-249), Expert (250-299), Master (300).

You have been assigned the task 'Journeyman Jeweler Test'.

Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'Ok take this list, make the recipes on it, and give them to the Judge for Approval. Be sure to read all of the rules.'

Rules:
Make all of the items on this list.
You may make them in any order you wish.
You may have friends help you with any part but the last step which creates the actual part on the list. This you must do yourself.
You may make the items in any order and turn them in to the Judge in any order that you wish.
The Judge will keep all items that she is given to defray the costs of the contest.
The Judge's decision is final.
If you already have an old Trophy that you have made, show it to the Coordinator and she will mark it as already completed. You will still have to submit the old trophy to the judge.

Upon handing the last one into Judge Marion Teld'Mare you get:

Congratulations. You have passed the test. Please give this scorecard to the coordinator. Be sure to have two places available in your inventory because she will give you either one or two items as your prize.

You have been given: Journeyman Jeweler Scorecard

Give the scorecard to Baublie.

Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'Congratulations! That was great work. This trophy is brand new and has yet to evolve. First take your trophy in either your left or right hand then take the certificate that I am also giving you and put it in the appropriate tradeskill container and your trophy will evolve to the proper level for the test you have taken.'

You receive the Beginner Jeweler Trophy and a Journeyman Jeweler Certificate. Equip the trophy in your PRIMARY slot, then combine the certificate by itself in a jeweler's kit and your trophy will evolve to a Journeyman Jeweler Trophy.

The trophies are evolving items that also evolve as you craft recipes within a certain non-trivial range (reportedly 100) above your current skill level. Once you pass into the next skill level bracket, the trophy should evolve soon afterward. The trophies can also summon weight-reducing bags like the older trophies. When you take these bags to Jolum in the Bazaar, you get an Essence, and can combine the Essence in a jeweler's kit to get a permanent weight-reducing bag specific to jewelry making.

I have an unmodified skill of 200 in jewel crafting and Baublie Diggs won't give me the Journeyman test. She says I already have the trophy and she won't give it to me again. I only have the freshman trophy.

Apparently you have set the trophy aside. This was a mistake. Equip it while doing your skilling. The trophy will skill faster than is normal to catch up with you and your present skill. Then keep it equipped while doing jewelry work.

Please strike the line:
All items besides those with "Palladium" in the name must be made with non-enchanted materials.

It is not true.

Also the line:
The trophies are evolving items that also evolve as you craft recipes within a certain non-trivial range (reportedly 100) above your current skill level.

Is incorrect... to evolve the item you need to simply make items above your current skill (not counting the mod effects). Thus with a base skill of 300 you can make things 301 and above even though you may have a mod that makes your trivial higher than that.

I realize this is an older post, but he is wrong on the quest info needing to be changed. I have done several trophies, not just in Jewelry making, but in all of them on several different characters. If your skill is at 100, and you are making items that are 201 in trivial, you will not evolve the trophy until your skill hits 101. The reason it works on things above the 300 skill cap, is because you cannot get your skill higher than 300, and the code is written to account for that. Therefore the trophy will evolve on items more than 100 above your skill lvl, but you most likely will have a skill of 300 or close to it by the time you need to worry about this.

Is now: Create 1 Velium Practice Earring using tradeskills

No --- because there is no way to Enchant Palladium and I tried this today with just the base Lapis Lazuli + Prismatic Palladium Bar. It worked.
