I know that I did the turn in this morning on one necromancer, then went back 5 hours later and he was up again for the second necromancer. Not sure of exact respawn timer though.

On our raid, we had no capes drop on the first time we killed. We killed again and had 2 drop. The other necro on board and i were rather pleased.
I lead a raid here. No feather dropped off any mob on 3rd island.. so great.. gonnna have to do this again...
we spent 3 hours in posky. no keeper of souls spawned either.
This epic is really annoying. No wonder why most necro's don't do it.

Killed him 3 times and people are getting annoyed cos he didnt drop cape all the time. I guess this is where necros want to quit their epic, lol.

Our guild took out Keeper of Souls on the way to the Sprioc Island for warrior epic. Took him down on the first try with 19 people with an average level of 55. He dropped 2 Capes with one kill, so the drop rate seems to have improved since it's introduction. =O)
We cleared the island of all but 1 wandering mob since they would assist if they wandered close enough. We had a monk pull all the wandering mobs but 1 by jumping off the island back down to the previous island (he has max safe fall skill). This gave us a lot more room to work with when we ported up and took out KoS.

I have a really quick question, in the pic it says the Spiroc Feathers are only Lore, not No Drop... does that mean that you can buy em in the bazaar or is that just a messed up pic and they really are no drop? would be great to get some answers... its for my epic so please help.

Went to PoS the other night. SPiroc Feathers did NOT drop on the isle. Went to Horsey Isle, keeled KoS and 2 capes dropped. I got one for my epic and guildee grabbed another for MQ. He hurts when he hits.... Dropped 2 capes some Gem, and a rogue only No drop belt with haste on it.

It drops in the Plane of Sky (PoS), but if you are in the zone, the tag after your name on a /who all [your name] says "Airplane." This has led people to also call it PoA as if it were the Plane of Air. Soooo...in a way, you are both correct.

Can the spiroc feather needed for this epic drop off of The Spiroc Guardian, also?
I did this quest a few days ago and here's what I've found out as far as the dropped pieces are concerned:
1.) Silver disk drops off island 3. Any mob on the island can have it and it's a common drop. Just a side note, make sure you have a weight reduction bag or a good amount of strength because these disc weights about 10 stones.
2.) Spiroc feather drops off island 4. They usually drop off of gorgalask's and spiritd harpies and it is an uncommon drop. Again, I hope you have a weight reduction bag or a good strength because the feathers weight about 5 stones.
3.) Finally, the black silk cape drops on island 5 (the pegesis and griffon island). To get the cape, you need to kill The Keeper of Souls. It's a level 60 Pegesis that can DT's every 30 seconds...nasty. As for the rarity of the drop, I've heard different stories. Some say that its a rare drop while others say that it's a guaranteed drop. Well, I can pretty much rule that it is not a guaranteed drop because it only dropped the cape once out of the 2 trips we made. But there are confirmed reports that the boss mob can drop 2 cape at one time.
Well, hope this helps.

The cape is nodrop, the other 2 are tradable. The whole quest can be MQ'd.

We had numerous silver discs drop in PoA the other night and several of our guild are saying those are for the enchanter quests not this one. That a silver disK is required for this. I do not want to lose my feather and cape if I have the wrong disk. Can anyone help please?
There are many quests in POA and many of the components are used for more than one class. The silver disk is used for the Necro Test of Power. The result of that quest is then used for the necro epic item Sythe of Shadowed Souls.
This disk is also used for the Enchanter Test of Metamorphism - Lelulean says: Metamorphism it is. Proceed upward through the sky and return to me a Silver Disk, a Bluish Stone, and a Light Cloth Mantle. This will prove your abilities to me and I will reward you with the Wind Walker's Mantle(AC: +6 Str: +5 Agi: +2 Dex: +5 Cha: +10 HP: +50).
While this is a nice item for chanters, the silver disk is an epic item component for necros and should go to them first. Fortunately, the disks are faily common drops (we got 2 silver disks on one clearing).

We killed KoS 2 times (80 min random repop) and he dropped lots of goodies, but didnt drop the Cape. We are trying him again tomorrow evening- hopefully 3 is a charm.
