This group task is the third in a series of five (following the task, "The Orb of Subversion") and begins with the Shadowalker Dustspirit who can be found in the northwestern part of Stoneroot Falls at location -685, +850.

You say, 'Hail, Shadowalker Dustspirit'

Shadowalker Dustspirit says 'Your time among us has shown your courage. It is that courage that I must ask for again. We have been blessed with a vision that shows it is now time for us to make our next [move] against the drachnids.'

You say, 'What move?'

Shadowalker Dustspirit says 'We have reason to believe that there is a lot more in the shadows than we can see. From the recent visions we have reason to believe that now is the time for us to find out what the drachnids do with magic and power. With luck, we may even find a way to stop them from overrunning our lands once again. Go out now, speak to Spiritualist Ryianna and let her guide you the rest of the way.'

There are three versions of this task: Hard High Level (group average level 68+); Normal High Level (68+); Low Level (67 and under). The only difference between them is the quality of loot and difficulty/levels of mobs.

You have been assigned the task 'A Plea for Help (Hard)'.

Speak with Spiritualist Ryianna 0/1 (Stoneroot Falls)

Task window says: Talk to Spiritualist Ryianna and see what her mystical visions have told her about this orb.

Spiritualist Ryianna stands nearby.

You say, 'Hail, Spiritualist Ryianna'

Spiritualist Ryianna says, 'Ah, frrriend. I have had some disturrrbing revelations while studying this orrrb. Even so, I cannot decipherrr it all. I believe it to be very dangerous. You must speak to Bloodeye of the Ragepaw, for I fearrr we will not be able to do this alone. I have wrrapped the orrb in a binding cloth to try and currrb its negative enerrrgy, but you must act quickly. I fearr that Bloodeye will not tolerrrate inruderrrs. You may need to slay his own to gain rrrespect enough to enter his hall. May Wuria watch over you.'

You receive Enshrouded Orb of Subversion.

Travel to the entrance to Snarlstone Dens 0/1 (Undershore)

Task window says: The situation is dire. It is rare for anyone to request help from the Ragepaw, much less a splintered sect of werewolves. The possibility of aid is slim, but you must travel to Snarlstone Dens and do what you can to seek help.

The instance zone-in is the same as the Bloodeye raid (both the entrance and the zone itself).

Kill 20 Ragepaws 0/20 (Snarlstone Dens)

Task window says: It is unlikely the Ragepaw will let you pass into their lair. As sickening as it seems, neither the Ragepaw nor their leader Bloodeye will respect anything less than a show of force. You must prove your prowess in battle and kill their own kind if you wish to speak to their leader.

All ragepaws in the zone count towards this step. There are random named scattered in the zone that hit for up to 1500 but don't drop any special loot. Random mobs see through invis; they tend to be the brown colored ragepaws.

Deliver 1 Enshrouded Orb of Subversion to Bloodeye 0/1 (Snarlstone Dens)

Task window says: Quickly, show the enshrouded orb to Bloodeye. Though a warrior and lacking the mysticism of Ryianna, such an implement of power is undeniable. What effects does this orb have on those near it? You must garner his aid!

Bloodeye is in his throne room in the far northwest corner of the zone. Clear to Bloodeye. He does not aggro or assist the Ragepaws near him. Give him the Orb. At this point, an ornate chest in front of Bloodeye becomes openable. (Bloodeye says nothing when hailed or when you give him the orb.)

Speak with Spiritualist Ryianna 0/1 (Stoneroot Falls)

Task window says: Leave quickly lest the Ragepaw turn on you. Return to Ryianna and tell her Bloodeye's decision.

You say, 'Hail, Spiritualist Ryianna'

Spiritualist Ryianna says 'Much grrratitude. I fearr we may be pawns of some sorrrt but I still cannot yet see frrrom which direction the dangerrr comes. It makes me verrry uneasy my frrriend.'

I never imagined a day when our small sect would need the help of the Ragepaw, but I am grateful that you were able to deliver our message. You are a true friend.

You gain experience!!

The entrance to the instance zone-in is in Undershore, in the northwest corner of the zone. Try using /waypoint 1239.59, 768.23, 141.33 to get a path.

Snarlstone Dens: A Plea for Help - Connected zones = Stonerootfalls.

That's wrong, it's in Undershore, northwest part of the zone.

If you want a shot at either the elemental mask or the summon ale mask this is a good instance since it's easy to manage. Unlike the Hive the den here is easy to navigate and if you're capable of mass aoe killing you barely have to do any pulling since the wolves run away and run fast so if you let one or two survive long enough to run away they'll bring the entire zone back to you in the form of a train. Done right you can probably clear the entire zone in a couple of minutes, meaning the looting part will be a lot more time-consuming.

Trash mobs hit for approx 650ish and do not summon so it can be kited... except there is very limited space available so root rotting is best if you want to go that route, but you need to expect getting hit cause there isnt room to kite, or go hide if root breaks. All the mobs in the zone I killed counted towards my 20 mob kill total, which you'll hit long before you get to either of the named areas. Mobs in the zone seem to be random see invis but 90%+ of the mobs dont see invis. I didnt check to see what the named in the north tunnel hits, but the named Stone Paw in south tunnel seems to max dmg around 1350ish. This mission really shouldnt take much more than an hour and a half for a decent group of 70's if you do the proper plow as you go and I strongly recommend taking a real group in for it, cause if you dont plow through the named, it gets to be a real pita.

When I went through I felt pretty confident I could DA and FD past the named and go do my hails and skip the whole real group thing, being a necro with 13% sheilding and 10khps with viction on. Major pita. The final named you need to get behind is just far enough in so your DA will probably fail within about 20 or 30 feet of the throne, and by then I had casters etc on me. What we did eventually was have the ranger in my group invis with me up near stone paw and had him weaponshield and distract the named while I stayed invis and ran past him and FD named about 30 feet down the tunnel which was the only real break in the mobs before final room. From there I made sure agro was cleared after the ranger was dead and popped back up, invised and walked back into his final room. There was a see invis wanderer that found me, but only one other mob in the room saw through invis and i was able to flop near the named. There are 4 mobs in the room though within 10 feet of the named you do your final turn in for though so you will get agro when you do the turn in. I did get the hand in finished before the 4 mobs ate me, and then after i rezzed up I went back and did the final hail to finish the event. You can actually finish it without a standard group setup, but for trash that tops out at 650, and the worst thing you need to face is a mob maxing for 1350 why go to all the extra fuss unless you really need to?

was pretty easy on normal. We killed 20 which was one hall and 2 from the pit, I flopped in to the wall behind Bloodeye and FD. Got up and did the turn in and FD again, groupmate did the hail. Nothing in the room saw invis. Stood once to open the chest, FD again, stood and invised then looted the chest, dropped the expo to get out.

Loot was :

Tribal Chain bracer
Magic item attunable
wrist
AC 20
Str 20, Dex 5, Cha 5, wis 10, int 10, hp/mana/end 120
SVD/P 20

1. in Stoneroot Falls, get mission from Elder Longshadow (requester gets something to hand in)
2. Party assembles in Undepants at the ragepaw, zone into instance
3. Kill 20 mobs in the zone - Monk can single pull - tag team
4. U want to head to the northwest - where the named pops (the red con named along the way have a fair amount of hp)
5. In the named room - are probably 10 mobs - if you want the loot after doing turn in - chest pops in his room. If ur not really there for the loot, you can creatively move all the mobs to another location so someone can do hand in

There is a lot more to this quest than whats written here. Mainly you end up killing most of the werewolves in the zone. There are also 2 named mobs that drop nothing but are along the 2 forks that leads to Bloodeye. Rage Biter up top seems to summon alot of werewolves when it gets low on health, we wiped a couple of times to this mob. Stone Paw is to the south..we chose to try him and he was a straight burn down. Overall this mission took a few hours to do..because we had to learn what worked and what didnt. Hope this info helps someone.

The regular rewards are as follows, with the lucy link:
Melee/Hybrid = Ragepaw Aegis

Caster = Shadowman Aegis

Very nice items for the effort and they are 60 required not 70 required like the hard mission items.
