I just finished this quest tonight. The Gold Disc from isle 2 is the same as the golden disc asked for by the quest mob. There is only one disk. The "Gold Disc" is the item to turn in, same as the monk item.

What do you mean you wouldn't recommend doing this at 46? There isn't anything you have to try to kill on your own as a cleric here! You do this when you have the items and the faction to talk and deal with the NPCs involved. If you've got a skilled group of friends on this raid you can complete any of the quests fairly easily if you just get the pieces you need. As a 46 cleric who just finished a successful raid to the Plane of Air, I say go for it!

Fearsome shield:
AC 40, 15 str 15 sta, 15 DR & PR Effect aura of battle. Drops of the Dracolich in Fear.
I dunno but why waste hours and hours for this when you can sign up for Fear raids and get the fearsome one.

Umm maybe because this one adds Wisdom
The mana alone makes this baby worth it. A nice upgrade in ac makes this a very attractive shield to replace my cc shield --- ac20, 9 wis, 40 mana.

I think that anyone who's been to Sky can attest for how often quest pieces drop. For what this shield does, you could have half a dozen other items in your hand, that are far more easily attainable. Even the prismatic shield is more useful than this since it has resists to all and nice AC.

Why must everyone that gets on here have something negative to say about everything? Yes, this shield is hard to get, but that is why it is a nice shield. Half of the enjoyment that I find in this game is the challenge to get the finer items, and the other half is helping my friends and guildmates get finer items. If this quest was easy and every 46+ cleric could just waltz into PoA and get one, then what would the point of this game be exactly? As for the comment that the prismatic shield is better though.... 18ac compared to 25ac. Plus the Prismatic Shield has no Wisdom or Mana attached to it. While it should be expected that a cleric of 46+ seasons has 200 Wis (or close to it), the Wisdom on this shield would allow you swap out some Wis gear for AC. The Prismatic Shield is not without use though. The resists are a nice addition to a dragon raid or the equivalent. Why not obtain both and use the best shield for the occasion? So next time you get on here to slam an item, think about what you are saying first. It will save me the time of having to correct you. Thanks in advance.

/agrees, plus at 47 I have a CGS which is only 10 ac 9wis, It would be a great trade off, to not lose what wis I have there already , gain mana AND 15 ac.

Most post 50 clerics carry a bag of resistance gear/armor everywhere. Personally, I carry two Tinkers bags filled with resistance armor and jewelry for any spontaneous dragon raids. This shield is perfect for standard grouping. When I want resists, I put on either a Sarnak Battle Shield or the Prismatic Shield.

Dark wood-is dropped on either on 3rd isle gorgs and stuff or 4th isle horses griffs.
Golden Disc-dropped on 2nd isle with the Azracks a rarer one but it does drop.
Shield-Dropped of Keeper of the Souls 4th isle 1 in 14 chance so good luck =).

Considering you have to be level 46 just to get into the Planes, the minimum level to do the quest would be 46 (although I couldn't say I recommend attempting it at level 46).
