Exterminate the Vermin (Rathe Mountains)  

I'm not sure where the rat whiskers came from. He doesn't mention them and he wouldn't take them from me. He was handing the eyes back too until I used the Mask of the Lost Guktan. Either way I am still dubious to him, but it could be you need to hail him first before handing in a stack.I can confirm however, that the spiderling eye can come from any zone.

In the Rathe Mountains, Exterminator Galub is at /loc -1826, 478, 0.51 (just south of the banker) and wants 4x spiderling eyes.

Turn in gives + faction hits to Protectors of Gukta and 1 gold, 1 Silver, 1 copper.

I turned in about 8 eyes from the local spiderlings, and 100 I purchased in the Gloomindeep tutorial off the vendor there. Xp was negligable at level 6.

Spiderling Eyes and Rats Whiskers when turned in by a level 37 Vah Shir Beastlord were returned by Exterminator Galub who is located in the small brown tent next to the banker who is also in a small brown tent close to the shaman guildmaster. Loc: minus 1809, plut 478, plus 2

When I gave him one spiderling eye and again when I gave him one rat whisker, the dialogue was as follows:

Hmm... There is something about Vah Shirs I don't exactly trust...

ps: My spiderling eyes were collected in Misty Thicket, but I do not think that should have affected the quest. However, I can be wrong.. smile...

The quest NPC is Exterminator (something), not Executioner (something). He wants four spiderling eyes from the jungle spiderlings that have infested Gukta. Note that spiderlings (in any old-world zone) and crab spiderlings (in Innothule) can both drop spiderling eyes as well. He will not accept Crab Spiderling Eyes.

Reports at the Druid's Grove indicate that the quest raises Protectors of Gukta faction. I don't recall what faction messages I personally got; I'll try to verify it later.

On a side note, both the cash and exp rewards are pitiful, even at level 2. I didn't test it at level 1 because I hit level 2 before getting my first spiderling eye. =/
