You must complete the first hybrid quest before beginning this second of four quests.
You say, 'What work?' Stefan Marsinger says 'Wonderful. Return to the plane and continue your studies of the hybrid demons. With the new information you have brought I believe we have a good framework of reference for the lower rankings of these beings, however there is a higher echelon of power that I will need to be familiar with. Seek out the Teir`Dal knights and grave lords of hate. All of these creatures should be within your area of study, but take care! Make sure to keep your protection with you at all times. Some of them should have a kind of Knight's crest symbolizing their rank; bring me this crest and some ghast fingerbones, along with your Gem of Courage. If you succeed in this task you are more valuable than I could have imagined, and I may need your skill with a final reconnaissance errand.' Turn in Knight's Crest, Ghast Fingerbones, Gem of Courage. took about a day or 2 to get all the drops with this one. Etched Knight's Crest was the rarest of the drops for me and my group! Quest is working on the stromm server with no bugs. got my gem and 4pp in money woot! Know i am off to get gem 3. Its great when you find a group that will do nothing untill every one has all four gems!!

Anyone have a clue where Etched Knight's Crest drops? No one has posted a thing about it and its all I need to finish 2nd. I have the piece for the 3rd, so this is realy frustrating.
Had one drop off a Gravelord of Hate (level 63>64).
They spawn in the southern part of the zone, towards the building that houses Inny.
Drops of the crests are RARE. I would say something like 1 in 60 kills (maybe more).
Took around 6 trips to Hate before I got one and it was the first that I saw drop.
Knights of Hate are also supposed to drop them but I havent seen any.
