Before you think you're clever like I thought I was... If you are on a fresh TLP then you likely cannot complete this quest. The door to Kejar is locked because of a Shaman epic 1.0 NPC. The door supposedly cannot be picked. I've also asked around, and checked my own advloot settings, to see if the key has been known to drop. Noone has seen it. This might mean that we must wait for Kunark to be able to acquire a key that will unlock the door to the imp for the robe turn in.
It was a real bummer to get all the way to the door on my lvl 3 hide/sneak Brell dorf just to be stuck. The robe is a neat one. If you are Kunark onwards you should be able to find the key, or the door unlocks at certain part in TLP timelines. Has anyone foon the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=23090 pre-Kunark?
*edit* : you likely can send a pet in to agro quest npc, then pull him out and mez/blur/charm/fd/snare and camp/whatever you can do. Its a lot more work. I'm just going to get a planar robe :((((

Kejar the Mighty, a named imp found deep in The Hole (#9 on Muse's map) asks you to bring him a Shining Metallic Robe.
The Shining Metallic Robe is dropped rarely off the Arch Ghoul Magus on the dead side of Lower Guk. In exchange for the SMR, you'll either receive a Shiny Chunk of Metal or a Shiny Robe of the Underfoot. The former is the more common of the two. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
