Pathfinder Viliken may be found at -20, +920, +67.

You say, 'Hail, Pathfinder Viliken'

Pathfinder Viliken says 'Greetings, friend, and welcome to New Tanaan. We have worked hard to properly greet you into our midst, and hope that our efforts shall not be in vain. As a ranger of Tunare in my former life upon Norrath, I have joined my fellow Pathfinders in scribing spells from memory of our journeys upon your world. These spells are not unique to the Plane of Knowledge, for they are the same as those Norrath offers to its guardians. However, they may be convenient for you to purchase here while you are browsing our libraries and engaging in the wonders of our beautiful, peaceful city. However, do not forget the scholars whilst you are engaging in the planes. You may stumble across a piece of pure arcane manifestation that may appear mundane at first, but with my help can become a spell of great power to all of nature's wardens.'

Translation: Bring Viliken various parchments for PoP spells in return.

Ethereal Parchments will yield you 61-62nd level spells.
Spectral Parchments will yield you 63-64th level spells.
Glyphed Rune Words will yield you 65th level spells.

Pathfinder Viliken takes the arcane item from you. Carefully, he inspects it -- nodding to himself in recognition of the item and planning of his next step. The ranger then begins a soft, melodic chant of priestly origin. You recognize the nature of the words to be a hym of the natural world, though you cannot decipher their meaning. The arcane object fades into existence, the runes etching themselves upon the surface become clear in their mat, neutral hues. Eventually, the ranger's chant ends and the object in his hand is complete. He then extends it to you in unconditional offering, 'Use this wisely and with great respect for the power that has originated it. The primordial arcane powers of the divine worlds are not to be disrespected.'

A little late, but it's most likely because of something in the code, due to the fact that Druids get Earthen Roots for an EP.

Actually, that was a correction VI/SOE made to the turn ins. Druids get the spell with an ethereal parchment, so the rangers do as well.

Cry of Fire is a proc
# Nov 09 2002 at 3:08 AM Rating: Decent
Well dear -- I have not seen the spell yet :-( I do know that the spell Call of Fire is a proc off of the gloves in Vex Thal. Was wondering why the spell that procs 150dd at 65 took more mana than the 170dd proc at 64 /em shrugs. oh well, I am not smart evough of a ranger to figure it all out anyways
RE: Cry of Fire is a proc
# Nov 25 2002 at 9:18 PM Rating: Default
cry of fire is a self imbue proc spell and i believe the the 170 proc you speak of is nature's rebuke and if you will notice cry is verious all mobs while nature's is only against summoned type mobs
Cry of Fire

I notice Cry of Fire is not on the list above. Also notice CastersRealm now has it listed as a SOL release, which it certainly was not. Is this just a fictional spell?
