If you are [interested in beginning yer training] as a Champion of Kaladim I will be happy to present you with yer instructions for crafting yer own set of Axebringers Platemail Armor.' First and foremost you will need dis Dusty Mail Assembly Kit to combine all the various items that you will need to collect from different parts of the Butcherblock Mountains and in our great city of Kaladim. I guess just bad luck but I have killed a ton of Krag Chicks outside of Kaladim. I looted 5 of the Pristine Claws but not a single aviak chick talon.

All of the revamped newbie armor/weapon quests should not currently be active on Agnarr until it reaches the Planes of Power expansion. While many of the quest pieces do drop I believe turnin NPCs are not currently spawning. The chick talon might be one of the items flagged to not drop until of the appropriate era.
this quest was easy compared to the one for dark elf casters... i should have started a Dwarf warrior first so that i would have had the plat for both the mage and the warrior... he earned quite a bit of money camping the goblins to pass the time... (he couldnt track, so he had to trip over these mobs to find em) Once i found a ranger willing to help it didnt take us long at all to find the mobs needed and collect the pieces... and we were also tracking green goblins too, since their heads and blood are worth decent plat... and the weapons and armor are very good to someone who doesnt have a level 70 toon to find twinks for them

You can find it on Peg Leg (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=200) and his pals in the Bandit camp. If you go to the AG Camp 1 (or is it 2?) and then turn away from the water you will see a fallen Guard Shack with two Guards at it (if you are at the right AG camp, lol).
Run toward the shack and you will see a fire in the distance (I suggest putting your Far Clip Plane at 100% so you can see further: Hit ALT + O, then go to the Display tab. Move the slide bar over to 100%).
They are underconned and about a lvl 16-20 or so (conned lt and dk blue to my 14 Shammy). GL to ya bud!

I think everyone is missing the point - These are SUPPOSED to be newbie quests. Not Newbie Uber Twink quests. Good God I wish I would have had access to these when I first started (way way back). I was wearing Banded and Bronze at level 20, and hacking and slashing with a Shiny Brass Halberd. This was considered UBER back then. Bronze at 20 was a great accomplishment. Stop whining about how hard these quests are. ENJOY the fact that you can acquire armor and weapons without having to sell batwings / bone chips to save up enough to get them. Play and enjoy.

Thank you Muvyn! everybody is always crying about stats on a free weapon, these stats arent even that bad for that low of a lvl, just everyone who says this isnt good enough for em, dont get it!!! THINK HARD!!!!

Agreed, The newbie quests have been the best thing in the game for the low levels and anyone not twinking characters is jumping for joy over this. The weapon is great for the level. I do however wish it was a 1hs to echo the sheild bash and duel wield at 13th. Still these wingers obviously never had to use tarnished weapons they had to make from rusty ones.

His stein drops off of Aqua Gobbies, but I'm pretty sure it can drop off other things as well. I see his stein on vendors all the time, so you can buy it for around 6pp for a really bad axe. (Only 2 more peices of Axebringer to get yah!)

When you have to get the warrior pollen they barely spawn and when they do you have to roll a 100 sided dice almost to see if it will drop the stupid pollen

Yes, the weapon quest was quite simple in that you could buy the stein or kill a few aqua gobs for it, and you could buy the claws too if you dont feel like chasing the damn krag chicks around, but that was a nice reply to the breastplate quest, in which you need a tongue from a bandit who NEVER fights alone, a bandit tooth, and a pristine forest drakeling scale. You go find that scale and tell me this quest was easy and to put some thought into it. The point of these quests is to equip a new character in some decent armor and a good weapon, as well as gain levels in looking for and killing the required mobs to get the components. So yes the weapon quest was easy, but if you dont like it then dont make a dwarf warrior, or just dont get the weapon.
