problem is... how do you turn the stuff in if your KoS? I tried to do the rallic quest and got killed in katta am a SK lol

To do this quest I went to the Netherbian Lair and killed just the Netherbians. I killed 158 various types of Netherbians, got 175pp, 8 Acrylia Phosphate and lots of loot.
Then I went to Katta Castelium and looked for Triblix Tikbok. He was kind of a pain to locate.
Triblix Tikbok is a gnome in the sublevels of Katta Castellum. He can be found in a building in the southwest corner of the city. His location is -763, -192, -265.
I gave him four (4) Acrylia Phosphate (one in each inventory slot) and he gave me some experience, a "Phosphorous Torch" and the following faction hits: + Katta Castellum Citizens, + Magus Conlegium, + Validus Custodus; - Citizens of Seru, - Seru and - Shoulders of Seru.

oops i turned them in 4 at a time... stacked... i wont do that again
I've been looking into stuff to give pets to make them uber, and would bane damage from this stack with normal pet damage? It would be very interesting to find out, because you could very easily slaughter them with a pet equipped with this.

Where do you find Acrylia Phosphate?
If you click on the Acrylian Phosphate link it tells you that you can get them off Netherbian drones in Netherbian lair

Have indifferent or above faction to do these quests, or you can sneak to turn items in. The other trick is to hand the items over if you're dubious, but have a friend make you invisible (indifferent) before you click the trade button.

This quest gives positive Katta faction (not sure how much as I was indifferent before and after doing this quest four times). Also gives negative Seru faction. I got the following dialogue

According to my notes the loc is -750, -200.
He is on the lower level in Katta. If you come down the path from the upper level( the one that hugs the cliff) the tunnel you want is directly across from the stairs. Go through all the doorways that are large sized, eventually you'll come to a building. He's inside.

I have looked everywhere(or so I think) in the caster guild for this guy. Where the heck is he?

P.S. I no I'm not the first idiot to notice, but it looks like they sell ALL the pure caster research spells here. So glad I dumped a ton of money and time into spell research. =(

It has been established it workes on Coterie Vampires. Does it affect Mistmoore vampires equally, or do they look enough like darkelves...?
This torch drops off the 2 gaurds in tenebrous at the katta zone every time you kill them

As more and more quests are submitted, please try to post where they start and if they give faction gang.
Looks like a fun time spender either way. I've been doing Shadow Haven faction quests as I walk around trying to sell equipment to buy a horse!

I have 7 of these and turned 4 in.. got a Phosphorous Torch.. *grin* its a 1 handed blunt 1/24.. but its also +4 fire and +9 unknown body type.. so potentially its a 14/24 on vampires i think.. not sure what unknown is but he mentioned that his undead enemies feared this.

Bane Damage and Elemental Damage (Fire, Cold, etc) works differently than a Damage Bonus.
Bane Damage is added to the BASE Damage of an item when used against a mob of the type it is a Bane to.
Elemental Damage that is listed as Fire: 4 or Magic: 2 is an add to a weapon's BASE damage when the mob fails its resist check. If the mob makes its resist check, then the added damage is resisted.
A weapon's Damage Bonus is added to the final damage done per hit provided the weapon is used in the player's Primary Hand.
So, a weapon that is 1 Dam, 24 Delay, Fire:4 and Bane: Unknown Body Type 9 and used by a warrior with a weapon damage bonus of 10 does a Max Damage of 14 Dam hit + 10 points vs Vampires and other shape changers with bad FR, 5 dam + 10 pts vs other mobs with bad FR, and 1 dam + 10 pts vs other mobs with really GOOD FR.
It's a weapon that sits in your pack until the right mob comes along.

Using this in a fight against a coterie centurion, I can definitely confirm that the bane dmg is versus vampyres (i.e. coterie).

Have you tryed to cast identify on it? Perhaps it identifies as something that hints its use.
I id'ed it it just ID's as a phospherous torch.. its not a bad weapon if you are fighting stuff that it does max damage against.. just not a good general purpose weapon.
I havent turned any in yet, so i dont know the quest reward. But I've seen Acrylia Phosphate drop off the Netherbian Drones in 'Netherbian Lair.' Lokks like little piles of yellow dust, and its stackable.
