I'd have to say that about 90% of EQ quests. Lots of content, but so much of it just sucks!

This is a prime example of the need for a rethinking of quests.
As I've said a million times before, by the time you can DO a quest you don't NEED to do it. In fact the reward for doing the quest is so little, that the quest isn't even worth attempting.

The main problem with face armour esp for a caster type class is thefact you can pick up a +7 wis/str veil for a relatively small amount of cash compared to the time taken to do this quest. So if your talking a min lvl of 45 I think most players will already have bought better.

I got the Moon Jewel to drop of a Large Zelniak in Dawnshroud Peaks, conned green or light blue to me at 48
The Etched Fire Opal of Nature drops off a sun revenant in the scarlet desert. I think he was called a gemmed sun revenant. Or possessed sun revenent. Light blue to a lvl 54. I am still looking for the other two pieces for this armor.
