I have been killing sunflowers for a few days now in SD, havent seen a single one that wasnt named "a sunflower". Anyone have any info about this thing?
As for the other components, I got lucky with the Mark of Destiny. Someone happened to train the "A Bloody Wolf" to the Neth zone and I picked him up there. I have no clue how to get him to spawn.
I picked up the Sun Jewel in the Bazaar after the recent patch. However I have a theory of how to get one easily in Dawnshroud Peaks. I have read a lot about how the higher lvl shrooms named "Fungus Shroom" (notice capitalized name) drop jewels more commonly than the lower lvl mobs named "fungus shroom". There is a small little camp of shrooms at roughly pos800,neg1400 where you can usually find the higher lvl ones. I only killed a few since I had to solo them, so my theory hasnt really been tested. Also, beware that a HIGH lvl shroom sk will occasionally spawn there, probably lvl 50+.

Where in scarlet does the fleshy spawn? Do u have to kill regular sunflowers...placeholders?

Just thought I would try to inform some peeps about an item for this quest. Had a Sun Jewel drop off of a fungus mushroom in Dawnshroud Peaks. It identifies as a....you guessed it.... Sun Jewel.
BTW these little buggers are AWESOME xp for 31-33. They were giving me about 3/4 to 1 blue solo =) Kinda downhill after about 33 though... =( Just watch out for that first patch on the left when you come out of Netherbain Lair. The ones past that by the pond were ALWAYS blue to me (some were a wht con at 31 though)

i wonder what caliber armor and weaponry this is, Ro armor and weapons or velious armors or better? Man I cannot wait, and how in the world is he getting all this info so early?

Several people were picked by Verant to test SoL for bugs and such before the actual release. They started around mid August.
It was mentioned on the test server.
People picked were ones who help the game by helping people I guess. Mostly those with Web sights and those who do articles on the game.
But that's just guessing who they picked.
