He is on the find tool as well CTRL F. You say, 'Hail, Sorifyn' Sorifyn looks to the west with a concerned look before addressing you, 'Hello stranger, I'm Sorifyn, I am in need of help with a very important [task] that is of the utmost importance to me and my people. Have you noticed the large insect creatures who roam around these lands? They are the hotariton. These beasts have called Pal'Lomen their home for as long as I can remember.' You say, 'What kind of task?' Sorifyn continues, 'Indeed, the hotariton begin their lives in the pupae phase, burrowing into the trees and feeding off of the nutrients found inside until they are large enough to burrow out from the tree's bark to being its next stage in life. The pupae are small and wormlike-' She stops to gather herself for a brief moment.- 'I apologize, you were asking me about the task at hand. I have studied these creatures for a long time and I have grown quite fond of them. However, we find ourselves in a dire situation with the Rallosians sacking and torching our once flourishing home. Have you seen the full-grown [hotaritons?] that roam these woods?' You say, 'I have seen the hotaritons.' Sorifyn says, 'You hear that sound when you get close to the trees? That's the pupae inside. Enough of them work together and it sounds like a chorus. It's what we called the "Song of the hotariton." At least, that's what I've been calling it. These beasts look terrifying and fierce, that is because they are. I have only studied them from afar, as I am not a fighter. My magic is not magic that can be used in any form of combat. This is why I need you, stranger, to help [destroy] them.' You say, 'You want me to destroy critters that you actively are studying?' Sorifyn looks forlorn and shifts her gaze to the north for but a moment before addressing you. 'I'm sorry, I'm distracted at this moment trying to track what the [Rallosians] are doing. A long, winding tale cut short, we need a way out of here for when the Rallosians decide that the foothold they currently have isn't enough and they start to march forward. Unfortunately, this means we have to get through the forest without being attacked by angry, fully-grown hotaritons. There is simply no other way to ensure our safety and if I have to choose between the hotaritons or my people, well the answer is pretty simple. Will you [help] with this endeavor?' You say, ' What do you plan to do about the Rallosians?' Sorifyn frowns as you ask, 'That is a great question. It will benefit us all if you can dispatch as many of those as you can find as well. My magic is very useful for hiding us except, well.' She looks a little embarrassed, 'I cannot mask our smells, which sounds strange but its not that my skills aren't strong enough normally, its that the [goblins] sense of smell is so strong that we cant sneak past them. If you are going to help us, then might as well take out as many of them as you can as well. We have been fruitless in that effort, if you think you would be more successful then please help us by taking them out too.' You say, ' I can help with the goblins' You have been assigned the task 'Royal Rallosian Rumble'. Sorifyn rolls her eyes, then speaks. 'I can't believe that out of all of the hazards and pitfalls of Pal'Lomen, a goblin's sense of smell is what could end us. Thank you, we will be safer with less of those little monsters around.' Sortifyn is in the process of making sure the rest of the Elddar who are in Pal’Lomen have a route to get out of the doomed village. She has requested help from anybody willing to lend a hand in carving a path through the forest for her kin to escape when the time comes. This comes in the form of clearing out some of the nasty wildlife that inhibits Pal’Lomen 1. Dispatch Rallosian Goblins 0/14 Pal’Lomen Your task 'Royal Rallosian Rumble' has been updated.
