You can obtain this solo task from Calam in Laurion Inn. You can find Calam at /waypoint -834, -50, 0 in the house on the first floor. He is on the find tool as well CTRL F.

You say, 'Hail, Calam'

Calam looks sheepishly up at you. 'Hello. I guess I should welcome you to the inn. Have a seat anywhere, if you want. I recommend sitting in here much more than going [out there].

You say, 'What's so bad out there?'

Calam says, 'Out there is everything bad I've ever imagined. Scary things that come out of the forest, or the water. Honestly, though, Ansie and I have been talking about it, and we're not so sure it will be [safe] in here for that long either.'

You say, 'Why wouldn't it be safe in here?'

Calam says, 'Well, things like that, the monsters, they never just stay 'out there', do they? No. They always come in here. Always. There ain't nothing you can do to stop them, no matter how ready you are. The best you can do is [make it harder for them], make it hurt less when they do come.'

You say, 'How could we make it harder for them?'

Calam says, 'Only one way we could think of. Find some warrior, some knight in shining armor to go out there and [kill them] before they come.'

You say, 'I can kill some of them for you.'

Calam says, 'You can? Well, that's a wonder, isn't it?' Calam seems slightly soothed, a little less frightened. He glances at Ansie as if trying to give her some hope too.'

Ansie and Calam seem extremely terrified that something will attack the inn any time now. Lately their concern has been about the creepy things that always live in dark forests. Their terror might be slightly reduced if someone could go into the nearby forest and ensure that there are no, or at least fewer monsters living there.
