Hurrieta's Tunic

After completing the Faren's Tacklebox quest, you receive Hurrieta's Tunic. Hurrieta is the mother of the Ironforges in North Qeynos (You can also kill her to get her tunic, or kill some dwarves in Butcherblock Mountains). Ton Firepride in South Qeynos despises the Ironprides. Take the tunic to him and receive faction, experience and coin. This works at dubious (Ton is on Corrupt Guards Faction)
Ton Firepride says, "Ha! This is great! Here's your money, murderer! Hope the guards don't find you. Now get lost! Take the tunic. Maybe Garuc will reward you for such a vile deed. I sure don't want to keep it around here" Your faction standing with Corrupt Qeynos Guards has been adjusted by 20. Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by -3. Your faction standing with Kane Bayle has been adjusted by 3. Your faction standing with Circle of Unseen Hands has been adjusted by 2. Your faction standing with Bloodsabers has been adjusted by 3. You gain experience!! You receive 3 copper from Ton Firepride. You receive 8 silver from Ton Firepride. You receive Hurrieta's Bloody Dress. Take Hurrieta's Bloody Dress and seek out the Shadowknight guildmaster Garuc Anehm in the Qeynos Catacombs. Hand the dress to him to get your reward: Experience, faction and a rusty weapon, a Rat Shaped Ring or a Rat's Foot Necklace. Garuc Anehm says 'Hahaha.. I see you actually killed a respected, well-known citizen of Qeynos. No loss for them, but you are certainly a gain for our shrine. Maybe this shall do you some good. If not now, then surely later. You may need it when the Qeynos Guards hunt you down.' Your faction standing with Bloodsabers has been adjusted by 10. Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by -1. Your faction standing with Opal Dark Briar has been adjusted by 1. Your faction standing with Priests of Life has been adjusted by -2. Is there a good variant (i.e. faction with good goes up, evil goes down) to this quest?

There is a good part to the quest. You have to do the evil part and get the rat shaped ring. Then give it to one of the people in the temple of life. Theres something about a new disease and giving the rat shaped ring to her after ridding the land of bertoxxuluses minions. Something like that

Can someone explain alittle better on where to go to find these people. And if possible the LOC and how to get to if they(Garuc) are in the Aquaducts.

Whats the deal im an enchanter HighElf, and ive done this quest 6 times and have recived only junk! I turn ibto a human and cast Alliance. Still nothin. Help.

Its a matter of luck, it took me 5 tries, but I finally got one. Too bad I can't wear it.

Two things:
First, Shadowknights can now wear this, which makes far more sense.
Second, Brother Trintle who sometimes spawns by the tree on the path by the QHills zone in WKara and then walks to the Barb villiage will occasionally drop this. There are *NO* faction hits for killing him, just make sure you get him and not Estle or Chintle (his PH).

someone was killing him a lot so i looted one of the corpses and i looted it. i looked in the other corpses and it was in there too. it is a pretty common drop.

It surely isnt a common drop. I killed Trintle about zwenty times and i NEVER got it. I wonder if Brother Trintle is still dropping it.

Where is this Garuc guy, I cant find him. I give the tunic to Ton but then where do I go??? It would really help out if saomeone could either give me a tell in the game (Iniudan, Povar server) or post something here it would be great.

He's in the very back of the Necro\Shadowknights guild beneath the arena in the aquaducts.

how would a paladin go about doing this quest? since he could not go into the evil guildin the sewers. should be a CLR SHA NEC item. oh well

You could create a mule to do the quest for you. And you can kill Trintle to get one.

In the name of Prexus I thank Verant for this! They complain about people not doing quests and it's because the Item/Exp/Faction result STINKS and is not worth it at all. Finally, a quest worth doing!
In case you haven't noticed, this ring has +10PR and +10DR. Where else can you get an item that will give you almost immunity (if you get two, especially) to several status effects AT LEVEL 1?!
Go to Faren, say "what tacklebox" (make sure you have him targeted). He will tell you to go get it. Jump into the water and a little off to your right of the dock there will be a bag on a little shelf/shore-type thing. Grab the bag (surprise, it's the tacklebox...) and give it to Faren. He may or may not give you the Tunic. If not, just keep trying! From there, the rest is pie. I can't believe how easy this is...
By the way, with +20 PR and DR, you are all-but immune to those pesky poisons and diseases from rabid animals, spiders, putrid skeletons, plague rats...
So do us Clerics a favor and get yourself some so we won't have to cast Cure Disease and Cure Poison so many times! (not that we don't like doing it...)

I dont have any idea why. But Hurrieta's Tunic always drops off of a dwarf named Tagnis Ginfar. He's by the shore near the docks in Butcherblock by the houses where I camp Den, Dal, and Lann. (Dorf dwarves)

The tunic can also be gotten in the qeynos aquaducts by killing the gelatinous cube named Cubert.

That one which is drops on Cuburt is Licias Dress. Give it to Zamel who stand near bank and you will +3 INT Earing.

third problem: cuburt does not drop it once in five. It's more like once in twenty. If you decide to camp this earring, be prepared to wait. Cuburt SPAWNS about one in ten from his PHs, so you have a one in two hundred chance of getting the tunic. When you turn it in, you have about a one in three chance of getting the earring. Most often, you get hematite. That makes it a one in six hundred chance of having cuburt spawn first time, drop the tunic, and having Zamel give you the earring. This is not a fun camp.

second problem: you don't always get the golden ear stud when you give him the tunic from Cubert :P

All of the dwarf fishermen that arent under kaladim citizen faction drop hurrietas tunic.
