You say, 'Hail, High Priestess Alexandrian'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Greetings child, what business do you have here? I'm sorry but I will only deal with Clerics that are willing to prove their loyalty to Innoruuk. I cannot deal with every single heathen that feels it is necessary to bid me a good day. If you are a [Cleric of Innoruuk] I might be able to aid you in your training. '

You say, 'I am a Cleric of Innoruuk'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Is that so Branaddar. Well from the looks of you I wouldn?t say you are much of anything yet. However, if you have the willingness and determination to serve your God then there might just be more hope for you then I would have thought. Obviously, to move forward in your training, you will need to shield yourself from your enemies and from the elements. I believe I have something that could help you if you are still [interested in proving yourself]. '

You say, 'I am interested in proving myself'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Well I must say that I am impressed by your eagerness to learn, however, you are not the first and will not be the last I am sure that has sworn devotion to our Lord Innoruuk. Lets just hope you don't end up in the burial grounds where many promising young ones before you have found their resting place. If you are ready to begin gathering items to fashion your very own Initiate Darkpriest Armor then I will present you with a [magical relic]. '

You say, 'what magical relic?'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'I have a box that I have been keeping for quite some time and have been waiting to present it to someone like yourself. Someone that I had faith would be strong enough to use it's power to their benefit. This magical box can be used to refine certain metals into a magical compound that is used in crafting Initiate Darkpriest armor pieces. I have the molds necessary to craft Initiate Darkpriest [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Greaves], [Gauntlets] and [Breastplates]. However there are some [important items] that you will need to collect before the molds will be of any use to you. One thing to keep in mind is that I suggest you craft your Breastplate last due to the difficulty of obtaining the items needed for that specific recipe. '

You say, 'what important items?'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'There are certain items that will need to be gathered in our great city of Neriak along with many different things gathered outside in the Forest of Nektulos, where most of your training will take place. The most important component that you will need to collect while adventuring in the forest are Helms that are only worn by Priests of Rodcet Nife. These vile creatures have set up camp in the forest from what I have heard and it is your responsibility to find and execute them. These helms will be your most important component that you will gather because it is used in all [armor recipes] as the metal that you will forge your armor with. '

You say, 'what armor recipes?'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Ah of course , I almost forgot that you will need to know what items to combine in the Dark Blessed Box that I presented you with. Simply tell me the armor piece that you wish to craft and I will give you the list of items that you will need to combine, along with the applicable mold. For example, should you want to craft a Helm first you would say, I want to craft a Initiate Darkpriest`s Helm. Please remember that the exact items must be combined in exact quantities in the box or the infusion will not take place. After you have combined together the items necessary to infuse your metal the correct way, you will need to take the Refined sheet of Holy Metal to the nearest forge and combine it with the correct mold to yield your armor piece. '

You say, 'I want to craft an Initiate Darkpriest Breastplate'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'So, the time has come for you to gather the items necessary for your most important piece of Armor Branaddar. You will need to combine 5 Helms of the Lifebringer, 1 Deathfist Templar Scalp, 1 Embalming Dust, 1 Matted Halfling Hide and 1 Woven Grass Amulet. Once you have prepared this final Refined sheet of Holy Metal place it in a forge along with this mold to craft your Initiate Darkpriest's Breastplate. After you have done this return to me when you are ready for your final test of loyalty. '

After doing your Breastplate, be sure to say: "I am ready for my final test." If you collect all of the journal pages, you'll get a Reanimation scroll as your reward.

The legs, arms, boots, and helm work, that much I know. I posted stats on them under the quests.

The BP combine didn't work though, at least it didn't eat my items like the combines used to though.

Have yet to try bracer or gaunts, as I didn't have the items for them before the patch. Seems the blood didn't drop at all, neither did "Orc Scalp", going to try looking for blood and scalps after class, am already late...

One more thing, it's got a hot pink color, with plate graphics.

Does anyone know if the last patch on 04/09/02 repaired this quest.

True I can probally twink the character better than what the quest gives, but for some odd reason I get a personal satisfaction of being able to complete the quest.
Quest bugged

These quests have been bugged since they were created. I gathered the components for a few of the metal sheets for these pieces and combined them and was rewarded with the message:" You have fasioned the items into something New! Error: Item created DOES not exist in Dbase." (wierd capitalization, I know.)
Still looking forward to when they fix this.

helms of lifebringer??

Helms are dropped by Initiates, Disciples, and Missionaries of Rodcet Nife. They are rather uncommon (maybe 1 helm in 3 - 10 kills). The mobs are all clerics, and so will heal themselves liberally and annoyingly. I wouldn't recommend soloing any of them until they're green to you.

There's about 6 spawns at approximately pos 800 pos 1100. Each of them can be solo-pulled. One initiate wanders the area, so wait until he walks off by himself somewhere, and then pull him first.

The helms you need for the quest are "Cracked Helm of the Lifebringer". They are large, and stackable.

Lifebringer helmets drops from 'Initiate of Rodcet' and you find them just besides the Halfling Neophytes at the small camp just North of the River..
halfling bones

I hunted a lot for my orc slayer armor.
Doing that I noticed a lot of halfling bones dropping off halfling and leatherfoot skeletons. They are often found on the near Commons side of the river.

Afraid she's gone missing for the moment. When she was around, she was in the cleric guild in the hallway leading to the trainer. She was pretty obvious in her spiffy armor. Since the quests all seem to be bugged she must have been pulled until they get things fixed.

the quest mob for the Initiate Dark Priest
quests, High Priestess Alexandrian, is bugged on my server (7th hammer, spawns as a low level human male named !High Priestess Alexandrian, notice the splat at the beginning) and I can not do any of these quests. I have killed the bugged NPC a few times and it always comes back as the broken one, I have a feeling this series was disabled on my server and possibly on all servers since nobody knows what the rewards are and discussions on some quests like the helm mention eating quest items (as opposed to a Does Not Combine message.)

Bugged on ARo as well. Ticked me off so bad that I just started killing her over and over again... no faction hits. =)
Enbalming Dust

The halfling camp at 1000, 600 is a good source for the matted hides. The captain dropped the skull one time out of 6. I looted enough Woven Grass amulets to do this quest and my initiate quest. I have yet to loot a templar scalp from the 10 or so templars that I've seen (rare mob as is), and I don't know where to get Embalming Dust.

Got a matted hide from one of the little scouts roaming around the newbie log, and bought a templar scalp from a merchant in the Neriak Commons -- check the vendors for some of these items. Can usually find embalming dust on vendors in East Commons, Freeport (if you have faction) or the tunnel between N. Ro and E. Commons -- drops off mummies.
