Hardam Stonegrinder is located in the Short and Stout section of Shadowhaven (location is -307.24, 1462.57, -32.81).
You say, 'Hail, Hardam Stonegrinder' Hardam Stonegrinder says 'In need of some ores or other mining supplies? Well step right up, I got everything ye could possibly need! Also I'll have more supplies coming in as soon as I can get some dern time to deliver my [payment] to the commissioner.' You say, 'What payment?' Hardam Stonegrinder says 'Well ya see mate I have a representative of me great mining business here that is currently in the bazaar, however I got some new things I need him to sell but I can't leave me shop! I just need to get these new [items] to him so that he can sell them.' You say, 'What items?' Hardam Stonegrinder says 'Well da usual items ya know. I gets a lot of different goods in here every day and it is important that I move em out as fast as possible when they worth more ya knows? If ye lewkin for a [task] I've heard about ye around town and ye seem to be a trustworthy person.' You say, 'What task?' Hardam Stonegrinder says 'I'm simply lookin for someone to take me box of [goods] here to my friend in the bazaar, his name is Faeroi and he will know what to do with them.' You say, 'I'll take these goods' Hardam Stonegrinder says 'I thank ya for your willingness to help, _____. Here is the box of the different things I need taken to Faeroi. When I spoke to him before he left for the bazaar this morning he told me that the helm that I had been having customized was ready. I have enclosed a note for him to give that to you to return to me. I look forward to seeing you soon.' You receive 'Hardams Box of Goods'. Find Faeroi in the Bazaar at location +16, 0, 0. You say, 'Hail, Faeroi' Faeroi says 'Hi there _____. It's nice to meet ye. Many great deals here today if I don't say so myself.' Give him 'Hardams Box of Goods'. Faeroi says 'Ah Hardam sent you eh. Fair enough then, please let him know I will get to selling these goods as soon as possible and please let him know that the helm will be done soon. All I need is a certain [piece].' Your faction standing with House of Stout has been adjusted by 5. Your faction standing with Traders of the Haven has been adjusted by 5. You gain experience!! You say, 'What piece?' Faeroi says 'I'm waiting to have a rhino beetle horn delivered to me to finish off Hardam's helm. I do not want to present it to him with one horn, you know. If you wanted to be a big help, any rhino beetles horn would do fine. Bring one to me and I can then finish Hardam's helm and send it back to his shop in your hands.' Go get yourself a Rhino Beetle Horn and give it to Faeroi. Faeroi says 'Its good to see you again so soon Hazan. I knew that you would be able to assist me in this task. As I said , here is Hardams finished helm. Please return it to him for me as I cannot leave my booth here.' Your faction standing with House of Stout has been adjusted by 5. Your faction standing with Traders of the Haven has been adjusted by 1. You gain experience!! Now take Hardams Custom Helm to Hardam. Hardam Stonegrinder says 'Ah what a pleasant surprise indeed it seems my Helm is done! Many thanks for all your help once again Hazan. And safe travels to you.' Your faction standing with House of Stout has been adjusted by 5. Your faction standing with Traders of the Haven has been adjusted by 1. Ok I hunted for several hours here trying to get a beetle horn - then I was like WTF - why dont i try elsewhere. So I went to Shadeweavers thicket and low and behold the first thing that dropped off the chi tai SWARMER was one of these things.

Turned in Rhino beetle horn, got +faction to House of Stout and Traders of the Haven. Then took helm to Hardam and had 2 more +factions to House of Stout and Traders of the Haven. No goodies or cash : ( Kinda lame quest.

rhino beetle horns are found in the newbie area of Shar Vahl, to get to them cast levy on yourselfr and fall off the south bridge, a ton of newbie mobs are there. and they are no drop :(

I found rhinobeetles on Luclin, and have killed 30 or so with no horn droping. Then I got jumped by "Gorehorn" who proceded to teach me a thing or two. By the time I got back out to finish him off, someone else had killed him and showed me a make they looted off him. No horn though.

You are in the wrong zone.You want to be in Shadeweaver's Thicket not Hollowshade Moor.

Gorehorn does drop a horn weapon but doesn't work for the quest. Already tried it.

ITS NOT A RHINO HORN ,, ITS A RHINO BETTLE HORN , THEY ARE only Found on luclin !! I killed about 6 rihno bettles ( they are pretty weak) and not 1 horn , alot of other no drop stuff though.... So im not sure how this quest turns out.. Good luck to all

Just did the first part of this. It's not a Rhino horn that Faeroi is asking for, it's a Rhino Beetle Horn. He says: I'm waiting to have a rhino beetle horn delivered to me to finish off hardams helm. I do not want to present it to him with one hornm you know. If you want to be a big help any kind of rhino beetles horn would do fine. Bring one to me and I can finish Hardams helma and send it back to his shop in your hands."

Actually, the rhino horn drops off of Ch'thk Swarmers in Shadeweaver's Thicket. Not off off Rhino Beetles as the name suggests. Its a lore item, & not a common drop.

Posted: Dec 05 2001 at 6:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Only place that I'm aware of that drops Rhino Horms is in Velious Easter Wastes. Although I have yet to venture to Luclin this place would be where to go if you too are unaware of any Rhino's on the moon(next big NEWS flash!?;)).
