Easy way to raise faction to do Tormax faction quest is to kill the dain a few times in Thug. Kill him and a few of the guards around him to raise Tormax faction. Its that or do alot of stupid quests that take you a year to raise faction just one bit. I turned in over 100 dwarf heads to Capt in the bank<forget his name> and it hardly moved my faction, I killed a few royal guards in Thug and bam Amiably now.

Great head for a Cloak
Give the other guy dont know his name a great head and you get the boots or the shoulder items

Ive just done this quest this weekend. To get a Frostbringer you need KINDLY faction with King Tormax and a GREATER dragon head that you give to Dlammaz Stormslayer.
It took me 131 coldain heads from Eastern Wastes to get to Kindly faction, and believe me its as boring as hell.
Ive heard that a quicker way to do it is to kill Royal guards in Icewell Keep and to hand in their heads. Need a couple of high 50's groups to do this easily though.

I completely agree getting this faction is boring as hell! I've been killing dwarfs in GD for the past week and im still dubious to Tormax after turning in probably 50 to 60 coldain heads. Oh and if anyone on Terris Thule reads this and wants to sell any coldain heads send me a tell in game, im paying 75pp for each head!

Kyenka wants a Great Dragon Head, in return you will randomly receive either barbed dragonscale boots or barbed dragonscale pauldrons. Don't worry, neither are lore and both are tradeable, so you can do this quest as often as you like.
Dlammaz Stormslayer wants either a Great Dragon Head or a Greater Dragon Head (don't worry about his request for an elder dragon head, there ain't no such thing). For a Great, you receive the cloak. For a Greater you receive the axe. That's it.

Ok from what Ive been reading on web pages was that turning in a GREAT dragon head would give you a Frostbringer. With Tormax faction at kindly, I turned in the great dragon head to Dlammaz and got the cloak of the maelstrom. Is this supposed to happen? I thought it wasnt random and I would get the frostbringer for it. Argh!

I have handed in more Coldain Heads than I can count. I have Dlammaz to Amiable, but he still wont continue dialogue from 'what foes'. Tormax is amiable as well, and he has no problem giving out the quests he has. WTF?...Do you need to be Kindly?

There are 3 types of heads from Western wastes, I dunno wtf a greater and lesser head is... The three heads are A great dragon's head, a greater dragon's head, and a elder dragon's head. The heads can be given to 1 of two different people, there names elude me atm, but they are the two people that are on the sides of Tormax (not the guards that are RIGHT next to him, the ones near the walls, on the sides). The great head gives barbed dragonscale boots OR a cloak of maelstrom. The greater head gives barbed dragonscale pauldrons OR a frostbringer. Im not sure what the elder heads yield, but the result is NOT RANDOM, it just depends who you give the head to, there are 2 npc's that ask for the heads.

Can also recieve Barbed Dragonscale Boots from handing in the Heads.

Wrong heads and wrong npc, this quest is done with Greater heads given to dlammazz.

in my time hunting in WW I have only seen the greater dragon head drop twice... never seen a great dragon head drop yet.
the Greater dragon heads both droped off of lvl 55 or lower dragons and seems like a rare drop. maybe a Great dragon head will drop off a dragon in WW that cons higher than lvl 55 as a rare. I could be wrong. personally I don't think there is such a head.

Well I have a GREAT dragon head which i got of bravatar i think though im not quite sure all i know is its a great giant head not a greater and not a lesser right now im tryin to figure out what quest it is for.

Kyenka inside the Kings chambers gives this quest as well... I did the quest with him and got Barbed Dragon Scale Pauldrons AC9 +5 STR +9AGL +10STA +15PR wt. 2.5 magic. I am doubous to the king faction giants so I didn't want to risk loseing my greater dragon head to Dlammaz Stormslayer.
I will most likely do this quest again with Kyenka and see if I get the same Item again. the item is dropable and not lore so I have nothing to lose.

The rewards are different for Kyenka. Also what makes a diffence here is the type of dragon head returned. Great or greater dragon head.....

I have done this quest and got a cloak once and an axe twice(got lucky, axe is very rare from what I hear).
The axe is called the Frostbriger, stats = 12dmg, 22delay, 7AC, proc: frostbite (proc= 60dd with some minor debuff to stats and cold resist)

He is near the Tormax area, and you have to kill a LOT of dragons to raise faction with him.
Just head towards the south most part of Kael to find him.

You get the Great Dragon Head, and Greater Dragon Head from named Dragons in Western Wastes. IF I'm not mistaken, Glati, Mraaka, and a few of the other Dragons drop these heads. I'm interested to know if you hand him a "Greater Dragon Head" or a "Great Dragon Head" if he will reward you with two different items. Any info on this would be great.
(I currently have 1 of each kind of Dragon head, but still have yet to bring my Giant faction above "Threaneningly".)

Dlammaz drops that cloak when killed. I would imagine that he also can drop that axe he talks about.

you can hand either head in, one will get you some boots and one will get you the cloak. but dont hand both in at once
