This mob spawns at 375, -3065 in the north dead-end room of the underwater potamide caves, and at -555, -2340 in the southwest dead-end room, for: Potamide Dame, Potamide Matriarch, Potamide Matron.
Of all the Potamides on the list A Potamide Matriarch is by far the most common. One seems to spawn about every half hour or so on average. I have seen her spawn at four different LOC's, 1) 375, -3060, -45. 2) -356, -2598, -60. 3) -560, -2342, -50. 4) -850, -2620, -45. and have even seen three of them up on track at the same time.

I believe the effect Iceweb Blast listed above is incorrect for this mob. Killed hundreds, never used it. My guess is that effect belongs to one of the three potamide rares that used to be called "a potamide matriarch." Those 3 rares are now Potamide Matriarch, Potamide Matron, and Potamide Dame.
Can confirm that a potameid matriarch can see invisible

[Wed Oct 12 00:29:13 2016] a potameid matriarch scowls at you, ready to attack -- it appears to be quite formidable. [Wed Oct 12 00:29:13 2016] You suspect that this being can see you.
Then I got too close and the whole room mobbed me while I was unprepared... died in the cave!

Either innately or by spell, I was seen by an potameid matriarch the other night while exploring the tunnels under invisibility. Luckily, I made it nearly back to the tunnel mouth before I finally died. 15-20 potameids chasing you underwater isn't fun for long ;)
