Glimmering StatuetteOk, I've been in UP for 8 months now, don't even ask why. There are Disturbed Elysian Remains and Corrupted Elysian Elders. I have never seen, even on track, a Corrupted Elysian Remains. Are all of you missing something or am I? I've been pulling 2's and 3's from the cabins all this time, until OoW went live and the Netherbian Swarmfiend (75) started camping the south cabin. Anyway, I doubt very seriously any druid who says he's solo'd a corrupted elysian elder. Anyone can get away with something once, that's why they call them miracles. I don't recommend the attempt to any druid.

A 66 druid should easily take the Elder. I have watched a guildy druid do it several times and have been able to do it twice myself. I think druids just have to get past the fear of getting hit by a summoning mob and you would see more posts that druids soloed this or that. Granted, the Elder does not hit that hard and with good MR, his dots/dd/root dont stick. You pull elder with ensnare and drag to corner, root, dot, wait for summon. The key is to time the summon and your running away from him to minimize hits, high magic resist, fast heal and regen. It is probably even easier now that ppl have access to infusion of faithful Vet Reward. I wouldnt recommend it to any druid, but if you dont mind dying a few times, you should get the hang of it and be able to take the Elder down regularly.

Aye I agree, if there someone with ya its not soloing.. Took him out by myself. Kept summoning me but doesnt hit hard enough to worry about. Trueshoted him and he was done like dinner..

Lets face it, most people who are likely to see these often are druids trying to get the Elysian armour, at one point there were more of these than the disturbed remains, they weren't a particlar bother, you just have to keep your eyes open (assuming your clip plane is all the way up).

Im willing to solo or try to fight anything no matter what lvl it is. So I thought I would try this guy after reading all the post and had pretty much full detail of what I was getting myself into. But I seen him all by himself and thought What the HELL I can do it since he is DB anyway. Well, Fight lasted almost 5 mins I resisted most of his nukes and dots. But once they landed and he summoned me it was over. This guys is tuff for a DB con. I dont recomemend anyone trying to solo him. At least get a tank to help ya out.

Old post, but w/e... There is a druid on Rodcet Nife that can solo Trak, in Old Sebilis... Aellis is her name, I believe.
Not necessarily, mobs that dont whack too hard, and that dont summon too often; IE...corrupted brownie for druid epic in LFay, only summons about once every 8-12 seconds and hits like a...well...druid. He IS soloable at ~55 (chloro is the key), just risky. The Corrupted Ely tho, MAYBE if he didnt summon too much, and you had time for dots in between, and were 63 with a far better spot heal he might be doable. I try soloing some crazy stuff, but i think that mob is just a bit too much for me =) Evac up!

I was helping a friend get some gear by pulling and helping him kill. He being 51 druid non-epic it was real slow for him to kill. I knew he needed the tunic drop and thought this was just a little harder mob that would have a better chance of droping it for him. Target, cast snare to pull and bam i get rooted. Whats this! No problem i thought then he starts unloading on me and i started to worry. Best i could tell he was useing druid spells on me (wake of Karana being 1 of them) I rooted him and as soon as the root was off me decided to book it out, and much fun he summoned me back to him. It was all i could do to outrun his summon range with SoE and have my friend succor (started casting before i got to him) I decided to leave him alone after that.

My experience with this guy (and the elder) is that they can assist from their spawn point. I tried luring many different remains, even wandering ones that were nowhere near him, and in every case, he assisted them all the way from his spawn. What even more strange is that I could walk into this range without him aggro'ing me, but the second I pulled a remains from anywhere, he'd start nuking me.
Beware the assist range on this guy. Basically if he's up, you can forget soloing remains until he is dead.

My wife's druid dinged 51, and just had okay gear, so I decided to take her to UP and get her some upgrades...I acidentally targeted an elder, thinking it was a regular one, well, needless to say, I stayed and died, as to not agro anyone else...saying that, I avoid him, but have pulled the reg elysians with him in sight, just not in agro range, and he has never assisted...???

I have heard the same thing by fellow druids, but I have been in the soloing and had him in track. So maybe its a luck thing I don't know.

hmmm two possibilities . either the corrupted is bugged on your server (would be strange, but ok , it might be possible )or you are doing something wrong.
Firstoff - the corrupted (both) are wanderers - whcih means they walk abourt aroudn the elysian house, drop down some, get up again and walk on. so nothing like a "set aggro radius". Watdh ouzt for them, but basically thay are easily avoided.
Second, one (druids ) ought to pull from eastwall and pull into safe corner (south east) where no extras will aggro. No Shaks, No Netherbians, no nothing.
This way, no extras will aggro, not even the corrupted. As all mobs have no LoS over hill and the hill isolates the SE corner, that is a safe spot. everything that turns up there goes there for a reason - eg : by chasing characters.
Believe me, I killed some hundred disturbed ones, got my own full set, helped on another 3 in my guild (complete ones). the corrupted never aggrod on me unless I pulled elysians from the house - which is not recommended anyway (except with group, including an enchanter) , as harmony does not seem to have an effect on them and they are hard to see (and target ) inside the house.

Incorrect. Elysians SEE through hills, etc. They have an aggro range and if you are in it, you get aggrod. 10's of times I had an elysian come over the hill to get me that couldnt have seen me.
Regular remains can be harmonied, corrupt cannot be. I always pull from the house, just harmony and pull other one. As for corrupt, I can solo him at level 60 without many problems, gives a full blue in aa too, not too shabby on exp.

The Corrupted will summon - and have a full zone range when doing so. Winged Death is their favorite toy - so beware :)
These see invis and have a huge agro range. Makes traveling through/around the zone perilous.

ME a lvl 60 Druid and my friend a lvl 60 druid solo him all the time. Must have c3 other wise u need another druid. So three Druids if u dont have KIE. All i do to keep argo is ensnare and ro sunderin and ro dot andf i get summoned a million times while friend druid heals and dots.
we killed him 4 times alredy got 2 shoulder items a totem and a mask!!

You have to get used to these boards.. this happens quite often..
Someone brags about soloing or taking out this Mojo Mama or Mombo King Kong etc.. and then down in the lesser phrases mention the 60-65 Level Big Bruddas they have helping them...

He does summon and is a druid so he roots and dots/dd.

FYI this guy has an elder version who is a lvl 58 druid. He made short work of me and my necro friend. Huge agro range and nukes for 800dmg aside from root and DOTs. No idea what he drops, he is still camping PCs on Rodcet Nife server. Trying to talk an uber guild into dropping him.

Disturbed Elysian Remains don't summon at all, level doesn't matter. I started killing these at level 55, and they didn't summon whether they were blue, white or yellow cons.
Corrupted does summon.
