I've been trying to finish off my Bard's Twilight armor, so took my Ranger in to track. It was definitely under the world. I couldn't see it while tracking, so tried a /tar an_immens and got it targeted. Tried using a minor spell to pop it onto the surface, but no go. It was hitting me, but I could only hit it with spells. Killed it, but was unable to /tar the corpse...
Dropped the Mark of Song, a magical lore item that could be used to play a tricky game of marbles or jacks, or perhaps you could use it for the Bard Twilight quested bracer which only requires 3 pieces: jewel of cloud, the Mark of Song, and the Pearl Studded Medal (which drops near by in Scarlet Desert, off a vigorous rockhopper).
Mob characteristics: seemed less resistant than most to snare and root, and didn't appear to be any larger than most in size. All of these bugs are as tall as a halfling, makes me feel like a planaria moving around the zone.
Yes he was definately less magic resistant at level 47. He must have spawned in the river and scurried back and forth accross the brook which took him off tracking with nary a whisper as to loosing target.
An `a huge underbulk` spawned just before him, both headed directly south of the brook, which divides this alcove and babbles from West to East, after spawning.
Question: Why is this mob registered in the database without any info about it's nature? Thanks to all informative posts in the open community section.
