The first one, not it's spirit, but the real Radir Fireshower dropped a Dream Weaver Robe today. I'm not sure why it doesn't show this on his loot table.
The second, the actual Spirit of Radir spawned and dropped a Bracelet of Comprehension and Mitril Edged sword x2.
I don't know if anyone else has stated the following info but there is usually a load of unnecessary crap in these forums and they need refreshed occasionally. So here's how it is.
You can find Radir in the caves along the eastern wall ov the zone around the Positive 500 vertical mark. Just north of the Vex Thal entrance a bit.
Invis in because the guardians and warders arent good xp at all and while the cash gems are decent money they are too far and few between for my taste. So invis in and take the first right fork. That is the only fork in the cave. Eqatlas has a good map. Stop at the next to the last cave opening and clear it out relativly fast but with enough time in between each mob so that if you are in room during repop..and you will be you can handle adds. I didnt see any roamers in there but we may have just been lucky.
Once you clear the room have a FD'er pull Radir to you and have at it. Just keep him slowed by all means lol. Our grp consisted of 62 bard/61 shaman/60 cleric/60 monk/57 pal/56 shd...which isnt the best DPS so it took us about 10 min to kill radir. Just an estimate. Wasn't really that hard just lots of HP. The spirit will then pop in the last room where Radir was before. Thsi is why you pull Radir instead of fighting him in the room. Med up and if you arent wanting to deal with adds wait for the room to repop...clear it..then have monkie pull the spirit. When pulling radir and the spirit we had a guardian tag along so I spent my bardie time keeping it mezzed which meant no haste song and such so our DPs would have been better had the monk successfully pulled both times lol.
But anyways the Spirit is a different story. Much more HP. 50k sounds about right but I would guess more if money was on the line. At the first of the fight before slow landed I was beginning to think we could't do it. He was hammering our tank like mad. But once slowed/cripped it tappered off. He resisted a bit. So get ready for when slow drops cause he flurried like mad as soon as slow dropped. Nearly lost the pally lol.
15 min fight in the end dropped the knuckles...the sword and BoB. Monk was happy. Radir didnt drop anything BTW. Gay.
Easier way is just to invis by everything and train all of the mobs to zone. Stick to the walls and you shouldn't get adds. Radir runs at run3 speed, so with soe on he should stay right on your tail. Don't get hit, keep invised and take it to ME zl. The only mob that should stay with you should be him, every other mob should be out of range at that point. Kite it around while your MT casts something on it (or chases behind smacking it) and voila. Easy pull.
Being a pally i get some resists on me and my DA up and SoW. Run to the back of the cave and stop at radirs room and put up my DA and run out pausign for a second every now and then. Go out of the cave to the left looking out of the cave and wait up on the hillside. You'll get about 10 to 14 mobs running at you and some casters. I'll heal myself and loop the mobs running on the hillside from one side to the other. Radir has a much higher argo area and will chase you even after the other aliens give up and stop. He runs slightly faster also so you can loop the train to find him by himself and run close to the druid area and wait for him to come alone.
One group and hes dead and log out to lose argo and head back to the cave when DA is up. You can pull the spirit the same way. The spirit is much faster than the aliens running but can't keep up with SoW so you can single him out much easier the same way. Often by looping the train only one time.
The druid area is a safe distance away from the cave so nothing else adds later. Just fight him there.
If you get argo from an distrubed let some one else argo and kite this guy and log out asap. The roaming mobs will forget about you if you out run them, but when they path near you they will start beinging friends and remember why they hate you so much.
Well I thought I could take this guy out solo.. until I found out he could summon. My guild killed him ealier in the day, and I chant kited the elemental around that room for about 10 mins no problem.
I believe Radir is on an 8 hour spawn timer. Not sure if that's 8 hours after you kill Radir or the Spirit of Radar. Either way, it's 8 hours +/- 1 hour.
This has nothing to do with the discussion, but Gantru Dralkenr is a named and is mezzable. We made that discovery when our enchanter was mezzing an add, but highlighted Dralkenr by mistake.
Anyone know the spawn rate on these guys(Radir and Towro)?? Took Radir then his spirit down with 7 people one night.... would like ot kill them some more. Thx
We kill this guy and Spirit of Radir pop inside the caves. My group go inside the caves but the Spirit depop in 1 hour. I hope to have more luck next day.
This geek dropped nothing after we killed him, but triggered his big bro Spirit Of Radir or something to spawn. His drops are under his name. Evildutch
