The classic level 58 version of [a dracoliche] is VULNERABLE regardless of other mobs in the zone. To clarify, for the classic fear zone and level 58 spawn, the following statement is not true: "a dracoliche is INVULNERABLE until # mobs in Plane of Fear: Revisited of died." The INVULNERABLE statement is only applicable to the level 109 version of [a dracoliche] in [Plane of Fear: Revisited].

In addition, the following are only true for the level 109 version of [a dracoliche] in [Plane of Fear: Revisited]: [On a dracoliche death a chest spawns. Bony Remnants] and [Quest Group/Raid Expedition: Plane of Fear: Revisited]

I've been wanting to attempt this mob, but it is difficult to catch him up as much as Fear is farmed these days. I lucked out and caught him up yesterday. I was clearing mobs and he added to a pull (2 toads, 1 silverback, 1 nightmare). I figured I'd go ahead and give him a whirl. I ended up burning most of my mana killing the adds. Started the fight on him with just 20% mana. He is not undead, so slow did not work on him. I tried a couple dots from under his belly, but they were resisted. At this point, I ended up having to sit back and med while keeping my pet healed. Fight took a little over 40 minutes, as my pet (67 with VT focus and mage toys) was pretty much the exclusive DPS. A few times it got close on mana, so I'd use a HoT potion and take a few hits while medding on my horse. I lost my first pet, but thankfully I had a second one suspended (also with VT focus and toys). He ran at 4%. His hp are between 100-200k. He procs Deadly Lifetap like VS and Echo of Nortlav. I resisted most of these, but I am not sure how well my pet fared. Found out the hard way that Elixir of Replenishment does not work in Fear.

Was bumming around in the zone to see if I could wrap up my 1.0 epic for my 78 Necro and the dracoliche agro's on me. What a pain.

I let my pet tank mostly and I kept casting a Dot to back him up.

He has about 187K hp, counting whatever he regens since it was a long fight with my pet tanking. About 15 minutes.

7 casts of Ashengate Pyre did 54K damage.
Warrior Pet did about 133K. That included 2K non-melee from his mage weapon.

I have killed this mob twice and I can confirm it does have a LOT of HP. Both times I was solo and the first time I unintentionally pulled him (was exploring for funs).

Not a pushover at all. My entire strategy for this mob was pet tanking and clicking the crap out of my mana robe hoping I can outlast this thing since it is a belly caster. Despite what people think, the mage's pet alone isn't god :)
I know people have probably solo'd this mob before and nowadays it's not uncommon at all nor anything to brag about but for the sake of info, here is what I found out.

Both fights took about 20 minutes each and the outcome was the same. I was able to use Elemental Swarm twice (once at the beginning and once at refresh), mod rod three times, Servant of Ro Twice and Mend Companion (highest level with fastest refresh) twice. I imagine 20 minutes is a good marker. I see other people taking him down in less with a lot less, but for a lonely mage it's better safe than sorry!

It seems to spend more time not attacking than actually attacking. I am not sure on if it is procing something, slow hitting or just plain casting with a massive mana pool (to no avail). Whatever the reason, it hits infrequently.

Only hits for about 500ish, but for a caster this is kind of harsh. The pet can take the hits without a problem. After all, he can't cry. With Granite Stance RK II, the 71 air pet lasts just about forever with hardly any healing.

He's a runner. This is in the single digit HP range, I think five. The first time he ran on me I got adds and had to abort the mission and try again. The second time I was smart and cleared out PoFear before he spawned so even if he did run around like a little wussy skellie dragon I'd be fine.

Just to note, a guildie that came in to 'help' at 10% hp could not land the DoN level 61 (-30) chromatic spell "Mire Thorns"...but was promptly made a sack of dead wood elf because it wasn't running yet. He was correctly positioned for a belly caster, too. Anyone else have luck landing snare on him? I see one post with a quick check for "snare" in this thread mentioning it did not land.

That's all I got, I am now the proud owner of the Berserker's Ring, a Fearsome Shield and the Zombie Flesh Bracer. Trophy time!

My guild tried a PoFear raid a little while back, and we pulled this guy. We had about 14 people - plenty of DPS, a couple good tanks, and a couple of healers. Average raid level was around 59 I believe.

This mob has TONS of HP. I'd estimate it took us about 4 minutes to bring him down, despite his unimpressive level of 58.

I believe we lost 1 tank and a caster to this guy. He has a relatively small hit radius (for melees at least), so be prepared to get in close.

Dropped 2 Berserker's Rings.

bored, i went into fear other day and saw draco up without too many adds so i figured i'd pick a fight to parse his hp. Fully raid buffed 70 monk i fought him for about 6min, blew all discs, 2 potions and 2 epic click heals. I did just over 130,000 damage to him and fight ended with him at 34%. So i'm guessing he has about 180 - 200k total hp or else 150k and wicked regen.

i forgot his max hit and all that but i dont think it was much more than 1k if that

just a heads up, in order for spells to land, u have to be under him to cast them....same as a dragon, hope this helps someone :D

As with anything slowable, a completely trivial encounter these days.

Broke fear with my ranger and chanter, 2 boxed. Loaded another window up for my cleric, pulled and trio'd him without incident. Could probably duo him with the ranger/cleric if I could get lucky with epic slow procs. Fight took a while, but really no idea how long.

Belt and bracer, exactly what I needed so I don't have to do this again!

Does this guy drop a bone?because there is a quest in POJ where the guy mentions a BOne from a Dracoliche

06/24 The Shades of the Void took him down on Druzzil Ro. Fight lasted between 5 - 8 minutes. Dropped the grotesque girdle and bracer.
