for me it dropped a Fungus Flesh Wristband and a Chunk of Sensate Reishi
These guys drop some flesh I think and some edible mushroom looking food. They spawn near the entrance to lake recondite from the Shadow Haven side. Coming from shadow haven into lake recondite area, they are easy to see. Just wanted to report some answers.

I kill these by blasting and then running towards the SH zone. Near the zone I turn and blast again and by then they finally catch up to me. I make sure that I am just far enough from them so my attack spell goes off fo 90 damage and I continue to gain experinece in offense, defense and dodge. I have looted the Reshi lens, eye stalks that have one charge of cast invis and the mushroom meals. No fist of wood weapon but still getting lots of xp as a 20 Cleric.
Is the fist of wood rare? i've killed literally hundreds of the sensate reishe elders and mature ones, i'd kill the Reishicyben if i could find him but, how rare on the fists?

Several times in my trips through Paludal to attack the Big Shroom (as my guild has come to call him. Caps and all) I have been hit for 1 point of damage by a "rain of spores" which seems to be an invisible MoB. Only warning I can offer is that they can see invisible and their minute DD spell will remove it and possibly cause aggro of other, meaner creatures (like the Phlargs that always seem to spawn near them)

I've had them drop off of Mature Sensates, but they may drop off of any of them...

These are dangerous. I've newly uncovered a spawn point where it looks like there is a lake filled with these. It's located somewhere in PC in the middle. They will aggro on you if you get too close. Luckly for me, i managed to have a invis on. They have mature sensate reishi that guard this room and not only do these live there, all kinds of reishi do. One word of caution: never go into PC if it's not for traveling between SH, SWT, and HSM...

Sensates dont aggro and will not assist one another. Maybe you were confused with Phlargs, which still aggro me even though they are green.
Also, I found the sensate's were a GREAT exp mob from 16-22. I leveled 6 levels in about 4 hours of playing. If you can ignore the cruddy loot, Sensates are your key to quick mid level upping.

This is namely due to that they have low HP totals.

I was hunting spawns near the Shadowhaven zone with my level 20 Paladin yesterday, and one of these mobs dropped a "fist of wood". Monk, beastlord weapon. Its 5/20 with some stats. I believe allakhazam's has it listed as also dropping from a named rare in Paludal.
It apparently also drops as a super rare drop from the 'shroom elders. Going to my newbie beastlord now.

sometimes when i solo these things the have this invisable pet thats called rain of spores and casts rain of spores which is rain spell but it doesnt work on me so i dont know what it could but just be careful.

conned dark blue to a 21 nage, so I guess it would be about level 18?

I got one con even at 19. Hits for 40, sometimes dual hits.

After a number of levels killing these things...they drop Chunk of Sensate Reshi, Sensate Reshi Lens (for tinkering), Sensate Reshi Spores, and Fungus Flesh Armor (cloth). No cash at all.
Just leveled to 19 killing these beasties and some con even so they range to at least 19. Want the Fist of Wood for Dual Weild advancement.

Most were Blue or even to my 18 Beastlord however I did kill one that was yellow so I suspect that the upper level is 19 (possibly 20) and not 18 as posted.

Anybody know what the Sensate Reishi Spores are for? I've never seen them before, and I've killed my share of these guys, but last time they dropped this. Looks like yellow powder (pixie dust, etc.)

strangly enough I don't think it matters how many of these things you kill, they always seem to con indifferently (can't complain bout that one..heh heh)

i zoned in and see a sensate reishi elder. i conned him with my lvl 25 warrior agnstic and he is only indifferently to me. are he ready to attack or other to other races/classes?

Only the very highest level Elders con dark blue to a 24 - and you could be right about what level that makes them; I don't know. At 24 almost all of them are light blue, and I don't think I've ever seen one that was dark blue at 25.

It's Beastlord, you dolt. You can get a better weapon though off a merchant for like, 5gp.

Fist of wood is a rare drop off mature and elder sensates. I got 3 off mature and one off an elder in about 5 levels of killing these things. Very nice weapon for skilling duel wield with the 20 dly.
