Just a little info about these things for all those bards out there who would like to try to swarm kite them. The best place I have found to pull them to is over at the empty huts near the bandit camps. Just pull one with any song of your choice while keeping your flute on then run back toward the camp. Make sure you scout out the path first though as there are a few lotus buggers in the way. When you run back to camp, I have yet to find a path that would not aggro a lotus so just remember to relog to lose aggro before you go back to get more dregs.
Now, mob info. The level range of 52-53 is wrong. Some of these can be up to 54 therefore uncharmable by a bard that would be swarm kiting them for exp. My normal swarms here consist of 7-10 mobs and usually 2 or 3 out of the bunch are uncharmable. The best thing to do is just cycle through them with auto target and keep trying until you find one that is charmable or just kite around the lead one until its dead then move to next target and try to charm.
Loot rate on these is pretty gimpy, not sure if the 1/200 is correct but I killed about 50 today and got nothing. Also, these mobs are UNSNAREABLE and WILL NOT run at low life so do not turn around expecting there to be no mob chasing you.
Well I hope this helps all you bards out there who are trying to farm some cash (they drop about 7-10pp per and acrylia grubs, not sure what they are for) from the belt and cloak drop. If all else fails, the bandits are 53 max and ALL are able to be charmed =)
As of tonight, 6-10-02. Info based off of the following group: 55 Enchanter 53 Warrior 57 Pally 52 Monk 50 Cleric 56 Wizard
Mobs all con blue and white, meaning levels are about 53 on average. Low MR, casting without add of tash is possible, though not smart. Resist are few either way. Lots of HP, rough guess is about 8k to 10k, but this is a very rough guess. No need to root/snare. These mobs do not run. And, these mobs are easily mezzable (though, GoK was primarily used). They are slowable, and other forms of debuffable. Lure type nukes seem to work best, though wizard grabs aggro very easily if he cast to often. FD pull does NOT work for these mobs, they all instantly return to spawn points. Breaking this camp can be VERY tricky. MOST IMPORTANTLY: The Aggro range on these mobs is INSANE. I'm talking HUGE. Sometimes, we would get adds from out of sight spawn points. God-like aggro makes this camp fun, but very dangerous. Loot is as listed, and is rare. 1/200 is about right for both parts as it seems. No way to be for sure though. EXP was decent here, shrooms may be better exp. Mobs here seem to be on a 26 minute timer. We tested this on about 10 of them, and seems to be accurate. There is about 30 mobs in the camp, but we only cycled 10 - 12 of them. Watch for the local Deep Cavern Lotus's.. they nuke for 600's now since Caster Patch. They are Perma-Rooted, so avoiding them isn't a problem.
Hope this helps out.

Killed about 50 of these tonight. Hit me for 149 max. First one we killed had cloak, but nothing from the rest. Can be tricky to split if you dont have a messer but if you're a fd class you can pull um through the water and when you pop up from feign, sometimes one will warp to you. So just pull that back a bit then feign till the others reset and pull the single to group.
They are 51 to 53 and hit for 149 max. They are mezzable. No high MR. We had no problem with a full group 51-56. And no need for snare, they dont run away hehe.
Most are 50-54, hit in high 140s, have a larger than shrooms agro range and tough to pull solo. They do not run. All drops are very rare. Tattered Hide Cloak is the most common (1 in about 50 kills) and is a nice item for dru bst mnk. Belt has been made very very rare.
We just had one of these con even at 53. They sure aren't 43-45, that's for sure. Hit for 150ish and they are totally immune to speed-changing spells like snare.
It looks like a buff zombie to me, lookin at all the mobs on luclin is makeing me want to run out and buy it just to see all the new things that designers have done, I think they did a really good job.
