for easier time finding get urslef to the snake pit with the spikes in it.

From there head EAST. or up the wide woode ramp. when u come to top of ramp yo ushould see a wooden structure to your left. just follow the wall and go further east. you should be netering a room wit ha carpet, a table & a barrel. This is where he spawns.

now this is my superstition playing in:
When i camped teh rom no more then 2 or 3 gnoll elites spawn, but if i leave the room then it seems a extra set of 2 or 3 gnolls seem to spawn ( if i let entire room respawn) among theese extra might be the shaman.

so my adivise is clear room go around a have a little fun and return to check/clear every now and again.

Lucy's says this is a gnoll poachers head. Gillarian Naelev in the ranger guild house is looking for poachers heads. Does this work?

Actually, there are three different items called "Gnoll Head" on Lucy, only one of which identifies as "Blackburrow Shaman Head."

my guildie friend killed this gnoll and got a gnoll head, it's not listed anywhere on this site what it is or what it is for... anyone have any info?

Seems to be a somewhat rare spawn, the few times I have seen him on my alts he was always in the Green Room. Casts low level Shaman spells, lvl 9 spells I believe. The piece of junk Wooden Totem that he drops is an uncommon drop. Hits for a max of 32. Place Holder is A Gnoll Elite Guard.

A small conversation in Blackburrow taken last night: A gnoll high shaman says "Oh look at me! Im the Gnoll High Shaman! Im unbeatable! Look at all the n00bs at my feet! They pray to me! Well, they cant pray, CAUSE I KILLED THEM!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!! Hey, whos that? Hmmmmm..... (Looks at name).... His name is Nexcat Portalclaw. I WILL KILL HIM!!!! HAHAHA!!!

Just for laughs, I have killed Gnoll high shaman at lvl 16, barely took damage, just had to make a run for Qeynos hills once Guards and commander trained me.

i killed him 4-5 times today with my iskar trying to get faction for qeynos. he dropped a gnoll head 2 times. its not no drop or lore weight is 2.0 graphic looks like ghanex drahs head. anyone have any ideas what this is for?

He just spawned in the room with four Elite near the Snake pit. He casts Drowsy, Tainted Breath, Sicken and Burst of Flame. Then my lvl16 Warrior dies.How many Mana points does he have?

And the Elite just guard him.
