First if you enter hate and go over the bridge to the right. enter that building and go out the back door, the building you see to your semi right with the door facing you, is where he spawns.
Second, of the tier 1 named, he is the rarest i have seen.

I can confirm that he does drop the Eye of Innoruuk.
You Know he might have a PH then were would PH be?

can anyone confirm that he drops Dissertation of Dark War? I have been searching for this item to progress on gem quest.
Also spawn time and the like would be helpful. I know he has a placeholder, but thats about it.

Was just in Hate tonight. 06/06/2003 Saw a named mob Grandmaster Q'ill or something to that effect. Dropped a Monk only Ring +3 to all stats. Hope this helps in some way. =P

Agree. R`Tal is only a master -- and Tier 1, so only level 55. The Grandmaster H'Qilm is in a house SE of church
The Grandmaster now spawns inside a house NE of the Cathedral. He cons dark blue to a lvl 65, and has a placeholder. He hits for up to around 400 but can be slowed - and once he's slowed he is as doable as any PoP level mob.

Grandmaster R'Tal looks funny...
Just so u know, not all undead are bad folk. Mr. R'Tal was nice to drop Indo BP, Legs, and Sunderfury for me...all at same time. BP and Legs are rarest drops, so very nice to get em at same time. Sunderfury is 2hs 25/36 37% haste, formerly an uber weapon but stil not too shaby.

MONKS ARE SUPPOSED TO OUT DAMAGE WARRIORS! that is our job, besides pulling. warrios are supposed to take the damage thats there job. a monk 9/10 will always beet a warrior in a duel, unless hes extreemly unlucky and mend fails.

if you have over 100 mend skill which you can get at level 20, you never fail mend. i havent failed a single mend since like 17, and im 58 now... and warriors should be able to beat us in duels, of course we can do much more damage, but we also need to do twice more than the warrior does to the monk because we dont have as many hps. warriors arent exactly weak, either. they can hit pretty freakin hard =(

You have to take into consideration the ease of availability for monks to get better stuff that you can trade. On the torvo server spider fur armor goes for 800pp at max which is reletively easy to obtain.Thats not even all that great either. Plane of hate is a much more difficult zone to get monk equipment and getting suck *** rare items isnt good either.The monk mask as en example. 6Ac and when worn ultravision dropped off of Maestro of Rancor. What the hell is that? Black panther skin armor also cost at min 10k a piece when it was first discovered. Still expensive and most people dont bother with it. Spider fur is better anyway.

actually smart guy, he drops sode of empowerment as well they just didnt include it in his drop list for some reason.

I've been pulling Hate for a long time, and finally a couple weeks ago R'Tal was up *and* had the cloak. So grats Zeny. :D
Its the same haste as a CoF, just different stats. I actually like the stats on my Sibilisan Berserker Cloak better, but the Rakusha is no-drop which is cool.
R'Tal is an easy pull, compared to some of the other mini-bosses.

Man this guy is going down on the rate server soon.it will most likely be Bane of Veeshan,Wolf Den,Clan X,Order of the Black sun taking him out,i know for a fact that with all of us he should be fairly easy.this will be awesome because right now most of my armor for my 46 warrior is just royal velium frosted and fungi/fbss/wurmmy/lammy. i will have my brother there and 5 of my toons there.This will be great,but just my input.
