What lvl is it to solo these gys as an Sk? I want to kill them at someoint in the Game, and I see people sayin they sometimes drop the CC items. Just want to know when to solo one so I can start =) Ty for all help.

I soloed one of these at 52 chainpetting 51 earth pets. took me about 4 pets, all BO and DSed. Not quite sure how you can use this as a SK, but I hope it helps some.

I got CC boot drop from hunter :)

I must be getting lucky then, I keep reading posts about how nobody gets any loot. But, I have been there for 3 days, already 5 SCHW have dropped, 3 SC wristbands, 4 CC Gaunts, 2 CC Circlet, the ring dropped a few times, and CC Vambs dropped once. Dunno...

I was wondering if anybody knew what the Crystal Chitin Circlet looks like, somebody said it looks like Custom Helm, somebody else said it doesn't look like anything. If you can help me out please post.

Saw him drop CC Gaunts, too the first tyme we pulled him to backwall camp... killed him many more tymes with no significant lewt ;(
I got a stackable "white spider fur" off of him, but I don't have a clue what it is for. Does anyone know what they are used in?

I've killed a million of these.
One and only time it dropped something, it dropped Spider Fur Gloves.

FYI on this mob. I fought one of these today (I'm a lvl 53 Shaman). Very resistant to magic for a lvl 42 mob. I cast 6 times, no magic based spells stuck (malise 2 times, slow 3 times, root once). I finally gave up to save mana for heals.

This guy, as with any of the "hunter" series of spiders, can see invis. The others cannot.

There appears to be a % chance of them seeing invis btw, so don't get yer hopes up if just one doesn't.

It's not a random %chance. These spiders can cast see invis on themselves. If it has cast the buff and the buff hasn't worn off (do buffs wear off NPC? /ponder) then it can see invis.

Dosn't this in effect give you a % chance of being seen while invis.
Yes. The buffs wear off mobs. If you sit there and watch you will see them recast their buffs. and can time when to hit a mob so it dosn't have it's DS up for instance.
Do these guys drop the Crystal Chitin Circlet?

Had one drop crystal chittin boots. Was very suprized.20ac and a couple stats (lost roll or would post acurate info on em) boots.
