The grav effect is a nightmare, especially when you have no faction and no lev. First time I encountered this wonderful creature I died. I left EQ for about a year, came back to WW and...
I was attacked and ran away with about 20% zoned into SG. I went back for revenge and nuked the dragon into dust. Was fun, hehe. Bad idea since CoV faction so hard to get, but sometimes its worth it.
Picked up peerless dragonhorn boots from Cargalia tonight, so I would guess her(his?) loot table includes the full set of boots, that being the worked, reinforced, heavy, peerless, and matchless. Also dropped dragon meat. Imagine that. )
Solo'd her easy, popped infusion first though. Ugly fight without the resists. (average resist without infusion is approx. 350 per base) Full health and mana at the end of the fight.
was doing 1.5 piece for SK guildy when this thing aggroed me thru the roof of tunnel.. started doing the knockback for 1250 or so.. conned white at 57..
Was running threw WW doing a GM event when this dragon aggroed my 69 pally, slightly buffed, approx 9K HP's and 1800AC useing a SEWS. HAd to use guard disc, followed by sactification, followed by holyforge, had to use LoH and HoP. But managed to kill her with 40% hp's and 0mana. Dropped tailsman and two spells, Spirtual puirty and Focus of spirit. Used 2 clicks of BFC to avoid takeing extra dmg from falling dmg from her nast knockback.
Guild got agroed last night by Honvar, and she snuck up on us at the cave to SG zone right after we started killing Honvar. Got hit by her gflux twice for 1238 in about a second and I died before I even got a good look at her. She's definetly one to look out for.
She snuck up on me yesterday and Gfluxed me. While I was in the air I got hit for ~1200 three times in a row, then Gfluxed again and a few more 1200's killed me.
She didn't hit me harder then about 220, this is a 54 warrior with the usual round of buffs.
I had 145 CR during the fight and her breath weapon did next to nothing to me.
The main problem with her is that when she hits you she procs a spell (not sure of the name, i'm told it's Inverse Gravity) that does a great deal of damage, and shoots you into the air like gravity flux. I took 620 and 400 from the two falls i took, and a damn more from the spell damage as two of them dropped me 3 bubbles (roughly 2100 hps)
If she did that then they had NO resist gear, did not have some form of levitate on and basically sucked at the game. Carg can be done will 12, lvl 58+ toons(with class balance) as long as you have met the 2 afore mentioned requirments. As for any dragon in this zone you need an insta cast item to keep buffs from being dispelled.
Cargalia is not ice based, rather a shaman... uh the fact that she summons a wolf pet might clue people into that, whoever posted that she is related to Vox is totally wrong.
Keep in mind that NPCs don't follow the same rules as PCs do. IE, a "shaman" class can have numerous spells not available to their class, likewise you might have a cleric NPC bashing. Most of the old world follows the paradigm of classes for the NPCs, but the new world doesn't.
For two examples I refer you to Tserrina in the Tower of Frozen Shadow. She is a necromancer, has been known to lifetap, and I personally watched her summon a *skeleton* pet, but she also charms and has numerous enchanter spells at her disposal. (And might I add a necromancer/enchanter hybrid with near 100% MR is soo nasty =p)
Or some of the gnolls in the new paw cast shaman cold based spells, diseased based dots and then go and charm you.
Or... some of the SK mobs in Trakanon's teeth have been known to gravity flux, which is a wizard/enchanter only spell.
The list goes on, but NPCs, again particularly those in the new world/revamped old world have been known to hybrid their classes thus it's possible she summons a wolf pet, but still can CH, much like Tserrina can summon a skeleton pet, but charm. =P
Also, Tserrina is a CHANTER with a staff that procs lifetap. Not sure about the pet, but it seems unlikely, seeing as she aggroes as soon as she spawns.
Necros and Shaman can both charm, maybe the NPC's charm restrictions are lifted for those spells, like a level 40ish siren in CS can charm a 50+ PC... most NPC's i know of expansion or no follow class types fairly well, with the notable exception that NPC's can always melee hard, even casters, though usually having less HP than no casting NPC's
Not saure about SK mobs casting Gflux, although of course some mobs have special attacks apart from casting spells
