Took him down tonight with 54 ranger, 51 cleric and 2 mercs (tank and cleric).
Took about 5 minutes and dropped: knotted turtlebone ring lodi shell boots 2x map section of shell spell: spiritual purity spell: aegolism spell: focus of spirit spell: protection of the glades rune of attraction
Killed him last night with my 66 monk before going to sleep. Figured being on a 12 hour timer he would be up not long after I got up. So far he isn't up after at least 12 hours and 30 minutes. Is it always 12 hours, or can the timer be different?
He does spawn every 12 hours at 0730am and 0730pm (give or take an hour but he spawned for me exactly at 0735 each time) He was killed about 0745 today so he may spawn around that time. I dont really know how the spawn system works lol. He pops over by the gnolls then walks to the edge of the water directly east of Tower of Frozen Shadows. Level 75 killed him easy with no problems. Hope this helps someone on Stromm.
72bst and 51 ranger duo. didn't need the ranger, she was there camping stormfeather. fight lasted a couple of minutes or so, didn't really time it. dropped two map parts, shell section, the ring, the belt and four different spells. then as soon as we were done looting, checked track on ranger and stormfeather had spawned and ranger got second piece of the map, how lucky is that?
should still be listed as a raid mob i killed it last weeek and got a 5 min med timer..... old world raid mob that is.... but 5 min med timer on this gimp

65 Cleric with 5.7k unbuffed mana, 70 Bard with 5.8k unbuffed HP and 1552 AC.
The cleric turned out to be largely unnecessary. Lowest he got me to was 55% when Requiem of Time wore off (55% slow), so blew one CH. Average hits were 200ish.
Dropped Club of Ice Ocean, Knotted Turtlebone Ring, Two maps, one Section of the shell.
Just went to check and see if he was up never had soloed him had watched him be killed once before he was up so i popped my haste and mana pots tracked him down he despawned then respawned in about 3 minutes engaged him it was pretty much an equal battle i was using 4 of my nukes so i hit weapon shield got a far lead on him he is snareable then i popped a HP pot just incase ended up with 97% hp 35% mana dropped boots ring shellpeice 2 maps and words 72 ranger 7.8k unbuffed was short fight i destroyed him good luck
Level 62 mage, not raid geared. Just really powerful. Took all my mana + pet enrage, had to chase after him in the end and med, get up chase him, sit med, get up chase him, and cast 2 more firebolts of talon before he went down. Dropped 2 pieces shell, 2 map pieces, boots, and belt. Not too shabby for my friend's gf bein like "Hey look a cute turtle" (not knowing what it was lol)
But yeah 40khp sounds about right for this mob. Highly resistant, even after mala'd. (Thank got air pet enrages)
It is idiots like you that keep others from enjoying the game, everyone should have a shot at mobs. Especially mobs for their epic pieces. I hope you were reported.
Dude... you need to step away from the computer for a while. I realize this post is old, but after reading it, this is what ruined/ruins the game. Come up for air, there is a whole other world called REAL LIFE outside. I am not trying to put you down, but it is sad to see people take this game make it something it isn't or wasn't meant to. This is almost as bad as the ghosting in my book (Yes, I do know that this is perfectly acceptable in the EULA) but get yours and maybe a couple for friends, then move on. It's just really sad...........
The information on spawn time is useful, but that really was a nasty thing to do, especially on a progression server. If you had done this on another server, where no one has bothered to walk into Iceclad since Fabled week ended, no one would have noticed or cared.
I'm not saying the guild had any more right to it than you, or that what they did was excusable, but damn.

I finally started to do my Eyepatch quest! So I am wandering through and he is on track (DB to 66 ranger). Buffed with a Conviction, Wunshi, Clairvoyance and standard 66 ranger buffs, I set off to track him. I commence the flinging of arrows (EQ & AM3) and oops...summoned! I had to pop 2 Distillates of Celestial Heal X and toss a couple Chloroblasts on myself but WOOT I got him!! Dropped 2 maps pieces, 2 rings, 3 spells. Totally wicked!
This soup--I mean turtle has almost exactly, if not exactly 40,000 hit points. How do I verify this? Mana Blaze = 36,000. Opening with that, He usually summons me, then immediately gets scared and flees. One or two more clicks or nukes, for AT MOST 4k more, and he is dead in the blink of an eye.
I was running my 68 bst to EW bridge to kill the wolves to spawn the named for my rangers last piece and i saw this guy. I was fully druid buffed and had 5.1k hp with 4 or so armor pieces gone (on alts) and decided to take him. Pulled with 60 slow which fully landed then sicked pet on him while i unleashed my dot's on him. When the dots were on him i ran in, used 1 HoT pot because i was bored and he dropped 2 belts the section and 2 pieces of the map. A 38 ranger got the belt/map and a 55 bst got the other map piece. He zig-zag walks east of the ToFS entrance. Good luck!
HERES HOW U CAN FIND HIM. go to Loc. 1697, 2040 and sit there this spot is where a kinda glitch is he will walk around in his path but when he reaches here he starts swimin in place in land and is there for im guessin bout a min or more hope this helps
65 Shammy and 61 Ranger killed the turtle earlier this week. Shammy dotted and slowed and sent in the pet while I activated trueshot and plunked arrows til the dog died and I got summoned. Then I just stood there and tanked. Afterward Norf (the shaman) told me that he only healed me twice and neither time was I below 60%. I was buffed with full 65 shaman buffs plus hand of velious.
Actually killed Lodizal and Stormfeather within 20 minutes of each other. Got the eyepatch and was sorely disappointed in it. Distilate of Alacrity VIII overwrites the Captain Nalot's Quickening. This spell does not stack with other haste spells.
As a 70 druid I whooped this overgrown turtle's butt! Just kept Swarming Death on him (didn't even bother with Vengeance of the Sun) and nuked him to death. Unleashed my AA bear pet on him at one point .. and was just basically a big pushover.
300 max he may hit for, but 300 starts to add up after a while. Unless you are a wellgeared druid with a nice amount of HP, id think Lodizal would be able to kill you before you could kill him. But /shrugs ive never tried to kill him so i cant really say.

Comming from scratch, my brother originaly PLed me 1-60 in 4 days and left me to fend for myself, so it took a long time to figure things out. I used to camp lodi 2 times a day 5 days a week in between school ( back on MM server when corodoth-or what ever the lvl 5 pet turtle with 35k HP is named). I found that although he supposedly was on a 9-12 hour spawn timer, there was once or twice that he spawned 15 hours rather then 9.
I think somebody on Fennin Ro has this guy timed, and is capping him the second he spawns. About a month ago or so he was found all the time. Now he is never to be found. Between me and my friend we check at least twice a day and he is never to be found :/
Anyways a 69 ranger might be able to solo him depending on your gear.
