If this place lower's Outpost Faction ( which im sure all the " Good " race's could care less about ) .... How do i raise Outpost Faction if i let it drop to the point of being KOS.
I dont know how to undo faction hit yet, but had to take alt in to summon body, was "amiable" and killed the 2 that wander at zone in, and went to "indifferent"........Serious faction hit imo(
Hmm i would like to know this too....but so far only thing iv seen is to kill Faydader or the Ej dragon (Serevelious?) a lot hmm this not easy hehe.....after dubious u cannot do braid quest anymore.....
Not having fought this mob as of yet (have the prod but not the fang, hehe) I can really only speculate but a balanced group of 55+ really shouldn't have any problems with this guy. One of the posts mentions an ae lifetap that has to be countered. Either it's possible to resist it since this guy seems to be between level 50 and 52 or it's unresistable (by mere humans with regular gear at least). In the latter case it seems it's only a matter of chain stunning him. Chain stunning is used when your group isn't quite on top of the mob in question, meaning that one element of the group doesn't measure up or as in this case when he procs or casts nasty spells. It can be a tank with low hp's, a cleric low on mana or without an efficient heal and so forth. Have your chanter mem every possible stun he has and shoot them of constantly during the fight. Ideally this would prevent the mob from even hitting you even once (or cast spells or indeed from procing them) during the fight. Expensive on the mana but useful for the occasional bad *** mob, hehe. If you're 55+ you already know this but it's a little something for the lower lvls out there.
While your post does offer some good information, especially the part about chain stunning (which as a paladin I utilize quite often), it is unfortunate that it will not work on this particular mob. The Spectre Spiritualist, along with all of the other nameds in the Howling Stones (aka Charasis) that I have fought is immune to stun, as are some other mobs (I have seen all of them be unstunnable with the exception of the goos). Also, as a 65 paladin with about 350 MR when I fougth him I never resisted his lifetap proc, but he did not have very many HPs (I'd guess only around 6-7k). So, you either can just duke it out with him if you are a melee, or bring along a caster for a quick fix against this bad boy. On a side note, both times I have killed him I got the hand of the reaper, so it appears that either I am lucky (which I am not known for) or that the drop rate has been significantly increased.
The spectre would be no easy camp unless you had a group to help you for awhile. He spawns in a room with about 6 other mobs, add to the fact he procs a 280 pt. lifetap very frequently. He's like a Venril Sathir Jr. I guess. I'm not sure to the rarity of the hand...
even thought the odds of one replying to this are slim to nil, ill ask anyway. is this a mob that one would need quite a bit of help comping, if even he was high level? is the surrounding area very tough? What is his spawn rate?
There is a froglok named Dugroz in The Swamp of No Hope, he gives the quest. He is in a network of caves, those which lead you to the TT zone. Easiest way to do it is invis and hand him:
a) Jade Chokidai Prod - drops of Chancellor Di'Zok in LOIO, the sarnak fort
b) Xalgoz' Fang - drops off of Xalgoz in the church/shrine in the depths of Kaesora
I really hate to sound dumb and ask a question I believe I know the answer to...but here goes... This hurts yer faction with the Outpost, don't it? heh, well, thanks fer anyone who can help.
