Killed her 7/14/2020 on Aradune with a 50 Mage (pet walling).
No exp, no loot, no faction hit. Shame. But revenge has been had. Stinking Halfling... too stupid to realize that every time she brought food to the deputies, they were dead.

Gathering items for the Shiny Tin Bowl I was least lucky in Misty. Took about 15 tries. Inothule and G. Fay were quick. Perma also took a while.
I go no faction hits at all today for the kill.
Last night, I came back for revenge while playing Korgulon, a 49th lvl ogre sk.
She had killed me twice in times past, and I had always been burning for revenge. I waited for her to run past near the stone "hillock" near the pok book. Had pet up, personal buffs, and potion buffs. About 3200 hp's, 2900 mana, 1050 AC, most resists about 100-ish.
She runs near and I shoot an arror at her - she runs a bit and begins casting. I do the same. I "feel the pain of a thousand stings" and my dooming darkness lands as well. She begins to move toward me and my pet takes off after her. She casts dispel magic and it removes my leatherskin (or whatever it's called), I cast fear and it is resisted. She gets within combat range and punches me a few times - I recast fear and it lands. She begins walking away - slowly - and I dump harm touch, both poison nukes, and a heat blood on her, then renew fear.
Over the next few minutes, I continue to beat on her, but she has a nice damage shield which takes it's toll. I keep recasting fear, dooming darkness (once), and poison nukes, along with my best lifetap. Pet is nearly killed by the damage shield. I finally melee her to death, though with the damage shield, I finish the battle with about 50 percent hit points despite all the 105 hit point lifetaps. My mana was around 30%. Pet was at 5%.
Fun fight - no faction hit I noticed, no experience (despite being a yellow con), no loot. I FINALLY have my revenge!
And I agree with the necro posters - the trick to beating her is to keep her feared so that she doesn't cast.

i dont mean to sound like a total idiot, but where abouts does she wander? and does she have a loc she comes back to? any info is most appreciated!
Ok first off i would like to tell yea a lvl 55 mage killing her is not correct.I once seen a fully buffed lvl 65 shaman running to the zone he could not hang with Ella and i know a 51 earth pet cant either.Moral of the story if it sounds to good to be true it is.I`ll give any lvl 55 class 100k if they can kill her solo it wont happen she will ensnare and root you so kiting is not possible.
can cast some lower lvl druid spells
She runs from the rivevale guards to the wall guards. just hang by one of em and she come to you. Doesn't take long. As a ranger who hasn't done anything out of normal faction, you will be fine. Easy step.
A ranger's life is truely to solo these worlds.

OK... This girl will go down.. eventually LOL.. I was on my lvl 52 De Necro.. heading towards Runnyeye to nab a couple items for my alts... when I noticed the guards were green to me.. I figured "what the hell" and cast my pet.. I had never heard of Ella Foodcrafter previous to this occasion as I was not in the habit of hunting halflings. Anyway.. she aggroed me and since she conned DB like an idiot.. I stayed.. dotted her several times and before I died (and lost lvl) she was only down to 70% health.. so I got another halfing a cleric to rez me.. did not get my lvl back.. so I looked up this information and discovered she was tougher than I had expected.. so I made a plan of attack.. hoping to get my lvl back from her lol.. I rooted her (Paralyzing earth) dotted her with Splurt (disapointing spell) and afew others.. and started nuking.. she of course left my pet and started attacking me.. my hps were going down fast, so since the pok book was insight I FDed hoping my pet would distract her.. luckily it did and just as my pet died and managed to get up and zone back into PoK with 10% exp points.. Moral of the story.. Bring friends if you want to take this girl down, or wait until you are much higher than 52 LOL.. I don't doubt the 5K hps one bit.

Was merrily slaughtering the stone wall guards tonight (10-3-03) and noticed something strange. She had a pet with her tonight during her uncomfortably close runs to the gate... a mage earth pet. Eh? I'd have checked to see if she fights any different... but I think I've died enough to her as it is.

I'd seen Ella many times in my EQ career.Whether slipping through zone invisable or coming to kill the Hobbit Barney Fifes.And of course many more while as a friendly coming to Misty to level in said character's youth.Last eve I was here with my 52 necro killing the fore mentioned deputy's.I was just after recreation really but the spears and shields were collected to sell.Soon I was somewhat encumbered and after clearing the arch waddled through,pet in tow to get a better look at the elusive female hobbit.
I positioned myself to the side of the road just as she zipped past.I couldn't target her in time but she scowled back at me and was blue.All I knew was that she was red to 41 thus 44 or higher.I'd never seen her cast a spell but that sure seemed like sow speed to me.Well I says to myself "self we may regret this but what the hey".And so moved into position near the road split which I'd seen her pass through.Trying to stay on my toes I continually tapped the key with dooming darkness till it fired up and I knew the game was afoot.She resisted that and coming from behind me punched me once vs my manaskin.The pet was on her then as I stumbled back a few steps.She then unloaded an ice spell on me that took out the remaining points of manaskin and spilled 125 damage over to me.I Invoked fear and it took she moved off a few feet then started moving to and fro in a small space.My pet was doing his part and and I threw 2 poison blasts of 400 and 339 respectively on her.Eyeing her hps in the target window I was shocked to see her about 85% health still.I re-applied fear then envenomed bolt.I watched the fight progress adding in another fear.Bolt did its thing and she was still fairly healthy.I let her have a splurt to play with went to refear but she resisted and hit me with engulfing roots which I in turn resisted.I got another fear on which got her to the point of not wanting to play with us anymore and soon after she was dead.There where no factions hits at all though mine couldnt have been any worse as it was.My %style exp bar showed I'd gotten a 1% kill(whee).After I logged and looked up the spells was aghast to find them 49 spells.I had just soloed a 50 which wasnt my intention at all lol.Btw she drops nothing and is hardly worth the effort to attempt.I'm roughly estimating 5k hps.I think that should give everyone the lowdown on Ms.Ella :)

Yeah, I tried fighting Ella at level 34 with a level 61 cleric friend who was collecting spells. Needless to say, it was quite a fight. 5K HP does sound about right. Very dissapointing finding out she dropped nothing.
From what I can tell, Ella Foodcrafter is on Stormreapers faction. I brought her up from Scowls at ready to attack to dubious by killing goblins in Misty Thicket & Runny Eye.

Ella has killed me twice and I got away from her attack once. I have killed a hundred or more Goblins and an equal amount of Orcs. I am now amiable to the guards and still threatening to Ella

Killed Ella Foodcrafter 12 times today, no faction hits for killing her. Also she has low resists, Invoke Fear got resisted twice in 12 fights, nothing else got resisted even once. A pretty easy kill for a 59 Necro ;)

I was grouped with a young halfling and we taught each other our languages when this fiend popped up. When I noticed her it was already too late. She permanently rooted me hit me with some ice spells for 600+ damage. She ain't bad in melee either, hitting for 100+ there. Being a mere warrior it didn't take her long to kill me, what's worse in the darkness I ran pass the entrance to Runnyeye Citadel and the safe zone line without noticing while fleeing. Bah.

I am a level 58 shaman. With my pet fully buffed and myself I cannot kill her. She has a DD that hits for 650hp. She also roots and heals herself. If for any reason you are KoS and alone......plain simple....RUN.

Its because you are root kiting..you need to get a necro to fear her/dark her so she won't cast, and keep her feared as much as possible throughout the fight. I've killed her with my necro numerous times, at level 52, 55, 59 and 60. 10-15khp or so.

I was at the arc resting and whenever she came to give food to the guards she'd comment about the weather. Alway the same thing too "the weathers nice up here" or something like that.

She conned red and threat to 46 ogre warrior.
My faction with the rivervale guards is currently dubious. I'll kill a lot more goblins and see if my faction improves with her. Kinda painfull to test since her ice spell hit me for 612 dmg =(

i turned in bandages to get the cheap dubious faction with rivervale so i could use the bank. this lovely lady rooted, nuked and stomped me a few times and i knew i had to do something. her casting is too fast to sneak in FD so ... off to killing goblins. and i mean alot of googlies. if anyone out there is interested in moving thru scowl and glare faction to dubious i just want to let you know it is a long road, be prepared to get sick of "Ugly creature at my feet. Me thinks that you'll be good to eat."
