These mobs run in packs and they definitely seem to path near players. If you are in the central area of FM and see one of these it absolutely will run next to you at some point...it's like they have player magnets.
Most annoying animal, always frolicking and gamboling over the hills of Frontier Mountains. I can't say I know of any other mob in all of EQ with this sort of irritating behavior! Uncharacteristic of such a heavy animal, too.
