Took me like 4-5 hrs to spawn but when i fought him he summoned or something a few mobs to fight with him there wasnt anything near really. so im fighting him plus 2 adds then i figured better kill the adds first (named has a TON of hps im a ranger btw too bad there not hs able) then the fight goes longer and two more maybe i was in the wrong place or something very long fight all dps/survive aa's used im 115 btw doing hunter toughest mob so far for in this expansion.

6 hours killing every carpenter no named spawn??
this guy has an INSANE amount of hp lol.
On the first floor, just before you get to the first spawn point, there is a tunnel running upstairs (not the open stairs, this is a fully enclosed ramp).
Halfway up that ramp is a landing.
This is a safe spot to pull and fight. Nothing seems to come there.
Got the staff first kill yay!

yea noticing that giant mobs in general have a ton more hps than other mobs.
