Killed him twice in a row last night, dropped the arms both times. Maybe they've changed the loot table rate.

im lvl 16 and i killed him in about one min. Hes very esay! I did not get the armplate in 2 times of killing him.

You dont know that he use strong spell. I am lvl 23 warrier and had damaged 111hp from his fist spell cast. Fortunately, due to his lower HP, he has soon run and i did get keys without another spell hit.

He's a Shadowknight. He harm touches! He probably hit for 111hp with that but can only do it once, after that should be pretty easy.

I believe the Bone Bladed Claymore drops off the Troll shadowknight on the third floor.

I spent some time in this fellow's room tonight. There are 3 spawn points in his room that all spawn on 20 minute intervals. When I initially entered he was not there, so I dispatched the 3 mobs and waited. He spawned 5 times in a row on the 20 min. interval, and all I did was keep the room he was in cleaned out. He only dropped the barbed arms once of the 5 times. Otherwise it was various large raw-hide armor pieces and the 2 keys. Hope this helps.

I killed him once last week, got the arms and was hoping for another pop to kill him again but in an hour, he hadn't respawned.. I'd tried killing everything in that area several times and no luck on a respawn... anyone know how to get him to spawn?

The Ogre drops 2 keys, one is the charred bone key, which you need to get into (or out of) his room. The other key is the smoked glass key, which goes to the door at the bottom of the stairs to level 3. That one is NO RENT, so you need to get one every time you go to level 3.

He conned green to my level 16shaman but i got xp so the level info is not totally acuratte and he didnt drop the armplates.

I was level 30 at the time I met him. It took 7 or 8 spawns of him to fianlly get my Barbed Armplates. His HT did about half a bubble of damage to my Shaman.

Arms info is correct.

I have killed this mob 5-6 times and he did not have the arms even once. The info on this page about it being a remote chance is most likely correct. Congrats on beating the odds:))
