killed this guy twice, both times in between the lake of ill omen and dreadlands zones, but not right up against the wall, a bit further out. Didn't drop the legs either time. I don't think the posted lvl is accurate. I was a 35 monk and he was blue to me, a low blue i assume, took him down about as easy as a hillock, maybe a weak tump. I'm guessing he is 27-30 or so, but that's just my estimate. Hope this helps, and good luck on legs.
Took him down last night - found him wandering almost due west of the fort.

Where's the best spot to camp that guy? how hard does he hit for? How often does he spawn?

killed this guy probaly 20+ times and no legs, get in a group and killed him once and he dropped them....plus I won the roll =)

I found goblinstomper at the same time i found bloodscale the vicious. I killed goblinstomper and he had no loot. None what's so ever killed him twice since and havent found anything on him either so who knows.

Found this guy, he is pretty tough, enveloping roots and 4 dots while medding then finish him off with a couple firestrikes. but he did not drop the leggings for me :(
