i noticed after staying in the pool room and pullin every aggro out one by one that once you turn all the spawns into non-aggro, or at least most of them, then lumpy spawns more and even drops more fighting batons and 2h practice swords
I'm a lvl 34 Monk and soon to be 35 and was waondering what's a safe lvl to go camp fer a Baton? I've been tryin ways to find out how a Monk could make quick cash so I can buy a Wu Stick and even get these Batons fer my lower lvl guild mates. any advice would be helpful, THX.

FS spears.. grave sandals..some gloves..and so on, but i dont see any problem just find some way of getting in, kill the ******* get your stupid things and how every many you want and get the F^&% out there and be happy.. and if you dont know about something ask someone in your guild or ask someone in the zone or just wait till you get out and zone then ask someone becuase honestly, it takes to long asking someone through a website, if you dont get it, thats ok youll get it next time, ive heard of poeple who have had such lucky days they got essence of dole for 75pp then wu's trance stick for helping some guy PL, so in other words you'll have your days when you get lucky like that, till then try not to worry about it to much

Killed this solo on my lvl 26 or 27 necro, i can't remember what lvl i was at the time, but he was yellow and with my pet, engulf, heatblood and chain casts of shock of poison i kicked his *** easy, didn't go below 3 bars of hp, after you cast on him even with pet on he will aggro after you, i pulled him into the big room where you drop down into (2nd floor). i just kept runnin around the little concrete table by the wall near the pool there. Hope this helps a bundle!!

could a lvl 35 bard camp the lumpy goo that drops the baton. and is there a good place to pull the lumpy to in order to not risk agroing everything at the camp. or should i use reduce agro radius song. Thanks!! Dalbas Runestriker Half-Elf Bard of the 35th song Keepers of Life Veeshan

Tip for easy camp. When you go down to the 2nd floor, start clearing out all the aggro stuff. i.e coerced Iksars/gnome/dwarf, kly... Keep doing this until all of their spawns have been replaced by (non-aggro) nibs. Once this is done you'll have a lot less to worry about as the only mobs that will aggro on you are the lumpys and the odd lumpy placeholder. If you're down there and you're not camping the lumpy, just show a little courtsey and leave the nibs alone, there are lots of other things to kill there and the next party who comes down to camp the lumpys will have a much easier time. Just my 2 cp anyways.

i was in a 1st floor group of lvl 30's for about 1 hour and we got a charred tulwar and about a bag load of FS and about a lvl worth of exp .. its a great dungeon for the lvl of monsters
You need to be lvl 51 to solo the place and if u are a caster u win MOST of the time, last time i got jump by 3 peeps 2 the dark elfs with pet and 1 dwarf cleric it was &^%&* hard to cast a spell, will anyway best of luck.
What is the spawn time? i was camping it and the place holder spawn, it looks like a some what mid time i guess, if someone can get me drec, time spawn for this. thank u
OK seen way to much of the wrong info or slight skewed info here. The lumpy goo called carper lumpy or baton lumpy by most spawns on the carpet by the fire, he has the baton and the worm eaten gloves. The gloves are a really rare drop, the baton not rare but not comon. the lumpies spawn once ever 4 to 6 spawns or so and have the loot about 1 out of 4 times. the other lumpy byt the door us taller people have to duck into has the two handed practice sword and grave sandals. Grave sandals are the rare drop and the two handed is uncommon but still the easiest drop to get from the lumpies.
To know what you have from these guys before you even fight then is pretty easy. if the baton lumpy crushes you, he has a fighting baton. there is no way to tell if he has the gloves other then he won't be crushing you. If he is slashing you he has a FS short sword. The sword lumpy slashing you means he has the 2-handed practice sword, piercing just a spear. if when he gets low and starts to run, something no other goos do, then he has the grave sandals.
P.S. Don't touch the non aggro nibblers if you are down here. i've seen that cap awesome with only the lumpy spawns and 1 wanderer spawning aggro. Then some moron pulls the non aggro nibblers and suddenly you have lv 30+ wizs spawning and the camp becomes hell.
I was killing the Lumpy that drops the 2hander and once it dropped a (Lore Item) Bone Chip. Identifies as Golin's Crushed Upper Torso. I'm assuming this is for a quest. No idea on class/race been looking around but no one seems to have any info on this.
Lumpy Goos don't spawn that often, I was there with a full party for 4 hours and they spawned a few times and once one of them had the sword. The rest had nada.
Just be careful wandering...the fall down to the third level is a looong drop
The other drops the necro shoes and the two handed practice sword. The necro shoes and the fighting baton are the only easily camped things of value in this dungeon. If you are camping the baton lumpy you might as well kill the other lumpy till you get the necro shoes as well.
How fair would it be if they dropped a baton a lot more often. This would make it too easy to twink a monk and **** off all the other hard working folks in the game. I got 2 batons in about 4 hours using my routine:
Use levi cloak to levitate Invis and zone in to dalnir run down to 2nd floor and scout area to see if any lumpy spawns are up. If they are up I figure out a safe way to get them. (they see thru invis and attack.) Then after whacking the lumpy spawns, I relevi and invis and head down to third floor smith room. Whack the spawn (usually follower or blacksmith but occaisionally penkeeper). Then reinvis and head to revenant room and whack that spawn. Gate out, relevi and invis. come back in and whack lumpy spawn.
What I got after about 8 hours: 5 bamboo bo staves 2 sarnak enforcers Necro arm wraps Necro gloves 2 fighting batons
No robes, but after a couple days I could probably get one of the two good ones (foci or shroud). I have gotten a foci out of pure luck before, but I traded for a couple forest loops. (guy was lucky I really wanted them). Welp off to camp some more... maybe I'll whack the other lumpy spawn as well tonight and try to get some necro shoes for my necro.
Most people that camp this guy are Monks...who dont have invis or gate unless they spend mad PP buying gate and invis potions. So they are stuck with tactfully trying to somehow get down to it by pressin FD 10k+ times or getting some really big group to help him/her out. And a LOT of times not everyone have the Pegasus Cloak considering its no drop and rare.
Guy that drops the robe of the foci is the coerced penkeeper. spawns at the same spawn point as the coerced revenant (tomb shroud) to get there drop down to the third floor, go down the hallway that leads to an opening with an open hole in the wall (looks like a coffin was pulled out) duck and go into that opening, takes you to a room with 3 kly and a goo in it. Go up the rock-like mound to the upper level of the room. Go down hall and there is a passage to the left into a room with a broken like table and a small stream of water running through it to a hole in the wall with a lot of water. This room is the penkeeper/revenant room. They both spawn in the corner of the room.
The lumpy goo also drops Grave Sandals. Great Necro shoes. +10 dex, +2 int, -5 cha +10 mana and some decent AC. Rare drop. I go lucky and got mine the first goo. didn't see another one all night though.
