These things are just about the easiest things in the zone, besides maybe the hornets. They don't resist anything... as a matter of fact the only mob that resists anything is that Gullerback SOB. I haven't tried any of the named Wurms but I probably wont.
They don't resist Fear, they don't resist Banish Undead, so abnormal magic resist. They don't resist Cascading or Dooming Darkness, or Instill so no abnormal poison resistances.
Darkness + Fear + Pet + Splurt... reapply Fear maybe, depending on HP... if less than half I just let pet tank. They do have a fair bit of HP but the HP go down pretty fast. All in all they are easiest mobs in BW behind Hornets. I'm more scared of light blue Sarnak Extremists. At least they have an off chance of landing Scourge or that damn Insescts spell on my pet.
51 Mage solo these like candy. They are undead so a necro, Pal or sk would have easy time with these. They do not have a high magic resist. My 49 Beastlord was able to slow 100% of the time. Her poison dots landed 100% of the time. The only time it didnt land was because of fizzle.

Just curious if a lvl 51 Mage can solo these things? Would it be fairly easy or too risky? If they resist my nukes I can always chain cast pets, but that would not be worth my time. Anyway, just looking for some opinions... Thanks!
Im a level 50 shaman and came across one of these monkeys in burning woods when i had a pet up.. Ended up having to gate after 3 Envenomed Bolts got resisted. Not sure if they have a high poison resist or if i was just SOL.
Thier resist isn't that great. I am a level 47 shaman and i was able to stick root, spook the dead, and winter's roar from jbb on these pretty well. I don't know about poisen resist though i never tried it.
