Fought him today with my 97Paladin, 96Ranger, and 97Mage. I had two cleric mercs and a melee dps merc as well, and the air pet did most of the tanking. He uses his ae often, but it doesn't hurt too bad; 20,792 damage to the whole party, but not the pet or mercs. Dreadmole hits hard; 16k aggainst the air pet. Lots of hits above 10k.

Dreadmole despawns every so often during the fight, and summons 5 mole pups. The mole pups have low health, and usually agro the tank. If all the pups are defeated, dreadmole will come back immediately so you can dps him. If the pups are not defeated in time, dreadmole will still return, but you will have to contend with him plus the mole pups that you didn't defeat. If mole pups from the previous wave are still present when dreadmole despawns the next time, the previous wave of pups despawn. There will never be more than 5 mole pups due to the previous wave despawning.

Real pain in the butt to box him, as the mole pups don't survive a full macro worth of dps, and assisting became a pain. Still took him down though after 400 seconds. He was the level 100 version, not the 104 (thank god), and he dropped a spiny Whelk-Fist. https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=103417

According to my log file he did the first AE (and went under ground) at about 35 seconds into the fight. AEed 10 seconds later, and again 10 seconds after that. Next AE didn't start for 40 seconds, followed by two 10 seconds. Adds spawned at 30 seconds into fight and seem to be changed out throughout the fight.

Hit me (level 100 Ranger 11.3K aa) for a max 11440..this mob flurries..so bring a good healer (or a couple of them!)..he will continue to spawn adds right down to less than 10% of his life, especially if you take too long killing him. Dropped rings on 3-4 kills..I've yet to see the Bixie Summoner's Stone drop (must be the rare drop for him). The last kill he popped adds almost immediately upon aggro.

He is untargetable while underground. The 4x adds are dark blue, very low hp. On my group (pal/shm with healer/wiz mercs), he managed to AE 3x before coming back up ... you don't have to kill all 4 for him to come above ground.

Every 20 seconds or so Dreadmole will go into the ground and 4 low hp adds will take his place. While he is in the ground he will cast Earthrumble on your group. He dropped Mole Whisker Ring, Helm of Latent Ether, and Bosquetender's Unity rk2.
