You're talking about the Skyfire Mountains version of this NPC. This page is for the Plane of Shadow version of the NPC which is set to level 104.

This named comes with two buddies when pulled. Then he starts to spawn sets of grey-con bats which still hit pretty hard. They appear to be unmezzable. By the time we killed him, which was pretty quick, the list of adds ran off the Extended Targets window. And they don't despawn when the named is killed, nor do they die instantly like some adds of this sort. Easiest thing is to just evac if that's an option.
I just noticed the comment about killing them with snare/root. I didn't try that lol. Probably a good idea to keep an aoe snare/root up.

granted it was years ago back when PoS was new but i remember seeing him spawn from the bats near the zone enterance. if i get him to spawn from other bats than the ones listed i will post again.
never mind was remembering wrong the three places on the map are the only ones i have had him spawn at

last night ... fear washed gloves, diseased kidney stone, greater dreadmote
max hit on a 100 T5 tank was 20342 (bite). Almost 7.5M hp.
