1) In the north pit, under Vox's lair.
2) A single wolf in a small cubby by ice giants, just past king.
3) In wolf/goblin tunnels by Preacher camp.

Confirming there are 2 spawns in the bear pit, 1 near giants, and 4 in the wolf caves. I have seen Snowfang spawn at 6 of the 7 spots, so it appears any rabid in zone is a placeholder. Took me 15 kills to get the 6 augments I wanted, so the aug doesn't seem to be terribly uncommon. Map file data:

We were down in the Bear pit looking for Icemaul, when we go him to spawn twice from the Rabid Wolf that spawn in the room with the spiders at the same spot. That being said i think that Any Rabid Wolf is the place holder for this mob he spawn at both spawn points for the wolves where we camped.
Killed him today he casts a silence with a mana and hp dot

Slot 3 Decrease HP when cast by 27500
