At the top of this page it shows a PH loc at -775 / +1335 but thats not possible. -775 is off the map below way south of the entrance and theres nothing there. Then there is another post that says -375, 325 but thats not possible either. The farthest south this map goes is -236, at Scout Janomin. Maybe it changed since those locs were posted?
Anyway, goblin alchemist isnt on goodes map either, so anyone know what its close to?

This mobs wanders between the northern camp and the orc camp to the north of that. Wandering over the hill ridge between the two spots.
That sounds more like everfrost peaks instead of permafrost keep. Im so confused.

final edit: He spawned at 293, -372, 4. On Goodes' map this is the room that is labeled Alchemist Zmegk, which I guess is his version in the hardcore permafrost. Room has a rock for a door.

The faction adjustments for this are incorrectly given for the Misty Thicket version of the goblin alchemist. For the Permafrost version of the goblin alchemist, killing the alchemist results in:

After probably near 100 hours of various guildies camping it a goblin alchemist appeared after a couple/three hours today during the increased spawn rate for fall.

Camping him right now, and respawn on both mobs is 19 minutes. Alchemist (or PH) always spawns on the south cot and a random goblin spawns on the north. Either spawn point can randomly skip a cycle. Both mobs are far away enough from the other goblins that you don't get adds, but they're close enough that they won't run on low health. Long and boring, but very easy camp.

I am camped in his room, so I just pop in every now and then see if he's in or not. Still aggroes at 45, but an easy kill. Spawned in the first five minutes today, dropped leggings, Bah! Still camping for cloak...

I camped this guy last night and, after about 4 hours, he finally dropped the cloak. In that time, the alchemist spawned three times; for the first two, he dropped the leggings. His PH are a diviner, evoker, priest, an ice goblin, or nothing (yup, sometimes nothing spawns). The spawn time cycle is 24 minutes. There are 2 spawn points in the room (the 2 pallets). The alchemist spawns on the west pallet. The other pallet will spawn something from the list of PH.

Could someone tell me...where in Permafrost is this camp? And is this spot dangerous? Lots of adds? I was wondering if i might do it solo as a warrior, level 32, or should I wait a few more levels. OR should I grab a partner and do-see-doe?
If anyone has info, it's appreciated.) I'm getting the cloak for my druid.

You'll agro and train after you get past the flag room. At the metal gates to the jail/king room I agro green this one green (at lvl35) there and he pulls in the others there (training up to 5). If you go in deep try to have someone invis or camo you or you'll probably have to fight your way to the named characters and that can be more trouble than it's worth. In short - do not advise soloing with warrior lvl32, 35+ perhaps but you'll still have to get past a couple suicidal gobos for any exp or special item looting.

well, i camped him for about 5 hours 1 day, didn't pop a single time. The next day when i walked in behind the rock there was no one there so i sat down and waited. The alchemist poped and i got the cloak....i wasnt realy sure if was happy or sad. This guy is a totally random spawn.

Don't know if it was luck but we got 4 in a day. 1 leggin dropped. Everything that we raided for was rare. Nice day!

Sorry but u are stupid for saying you only saw him once in 2 hours and all he dropped was blood... i farm this guy regularaly and i can voulch for the fact that he will always drop the legs or the cloak... neither is rare neither is ultra rare drop... either one or the other and its simply random... i have gotton 2 cloaks in 2 spawns and i have gone 4 days and nothing but legs, and thats if i even se him at all...

i have camped this thing for 8 hours one day got 3 legs then came on today and killed him agian. logged for afew hours got back on killed him agian everytime legs. its driving me crazy got to wave 107 score around 800000 in gems. it needs to have a spawn time and one that is less than an hour.

next spawn at 10.34 alchimist got a cloak
next spawn at 11.20 wizard got a permasnowball and a heart of clod(or smthg like that no drop)
he always droped a fine steel weapon

35th druid here and i went there last night about 1 am pacific, killed everything in sight till i got to the rock and finally camped for 3hrs till the server came down and i saw no alcham. this 15min 30min bs is driving me insane. killed so many ice gobs that i got over 150pp but no alcham. is there a better way to increase the chances of spawn or is it just sit and wait? is there another room where he spawns aswell or is this it? btw if you're pvp get the heart from wizard gob and in SOL A if you want to revert to good guy ask gm about it. i helped a ranger yesterday get the heart poor guy had to run all the way to SOL A cause i could'nt port him. ( WENERIN METTATRON 35 HELL LEVEL DRUID PREXUS SERVER>

I've been camping this sucker for about 2 hours now. I've seen goblins in this room ONCE. When I showed up. It's been going on 2 hours and 5 minutes since i saw ANYTHING AT ALL spawn in this room. I petitioned GMs twice but they said they can't do anything. I've camped this room for going on 10 hours now and I've seen maybe 3 alchemists. All legs.

I camped this one on Vazaelle yesterday morning with my druid and a SK friend. He and I were the only 2 in the zone when we got there so we set up camp early, had a few of people wander in to check on it during our stay. The cloak finally dropped around 10pm, on the 6th spawn of the alchemist (others dropped legs). Respawn rate of room was about 15-25 min it seemed, and alchemist only showed up once in a while, most spawns were not him. He also was not up when I went in, it was 2 ice goblins. Oh and to note I did have Lady Vox on track but he eventually did spawn, so to the person below who mentioned that might be the cause, I don't think she affects the alchemist's spawn.
oh, btw, the picutre i see, is not even close to what the alchemist looks like. He's white, not green. He's in a ice cave ,not mountainous fertile area....hrmmmmm!!
Yep definately a picture of the Goblin Alchemist in Misty Thicket, same name but very much lower level.
Just go into the zone at like 4am (mountain time) and there will be about 1 or 2 people and yourself in the zone IF anyone at all. I've kept all 4 major spawn area's cleared with a 36 monk, hehehe. Only problem my monk saw was the DS. that adds up fast. Myself, an 41 magician, should be able to kill it all with me and my pet. if a 36 monk can do it, so can I!

I camped the Alc for 6 hours last night and he did not pop once. Interestingly enough, neither did any of the other "rares" in the entire zone. Lady Vox was in at the time and I am wondering if her presence has any influence on other pops in the zone?
