Hykallen  

I'm a 49th Pally, working on my FA quest, I'm still dubious at Erudin, as I never gave a dam about getting the Ro Bracers, so I come here, read all about DW faction, & it seemed that this lady's the easiest way to get me to warmly with the High humans in Odus. I just dunno, I killed her 5 times now & still no noticeable faction changes. I spent a day getting to Erudin, with my bad ISP & all, but still they turn an icey glare at my little cute Half-Elf face. (?)
So, what I'm asking here, has there been a changement in the amount of the faction hit this lady gets her killer, or is she just not as good at it like ppl say??

I am the Mage of the 12th season, and I have killed Hykallen and I wish to share with you all how I performed this.

I was hanging around Lavasotrm, killing rock dervishs, and I saw this necro, and attacked her. She wh00ped me down, and I vowed to get revenge. After I had gotten my corpse, I began killing the fire eles and rock dervishs, when I noticed some casting over in Hykallen's direction. I ran over there, and found she had three lava crawlers (all red to me) four fire eles (three red, one yellow) and a lava basikisk (blue to me). After a long and hard battle, the goblin had passed away, and same with Hykallen's pet, and she had less than 1/4 of her health. I took advantage of this situation, and I casted "Shock of Blades" or her, and it did, it's maximum dmg, 33. She immediatly turned around, and attacked my pet, she casted a nasty DoT on him, and he hit her for 6dmg, and she began running. I "Renewed Elements" (pet heal) and casted many shocks of blades (none of which she resisted) and after a little while, she dropped dead! I killed her at lvl 12! I got two bubbles of exp and the satisfaction of kill her :)

At level 26 i ran into her while running to the Temple to get my quest boots. Now, as a cleric, my nukes aren't that great, and I was only using an EBM, but she was deep green to me, so i figured i was fine. I wasn't quite at FM when i started nuking. Well, let's just say it wasn't pretty. I rooted her pet, and finally rooted her. Nuked her like crazy while she DoTed me. Finally killed her, but I didn't have enough mana to finish off her pet, so i looted her and gated. She's a fierce one.

Conned blue to me at 14th, kicked serious but on me and also kept healing those pesky goblins when I tried to kill them off first

She is green at 20

Yes, she is very hard. She beat the crap out of my partner, and she double doted both of us (I was able to gate out, suprising I know). I would have died had I not had resolution, and my guild captain at my bind point. She uses level 12 spells, no level 16 spells. Its kind of like dueling necro's, you can't believe what they con you and then how they beat the crap outa ya(its my main job, I think I have 8 heads on my rack now, one 5 levels higher than me) Necros are hard

Paladins, if your trying to get your faction up for various pieces of ro armor, or for your Fiery Avenger/Defender then I would suggest killing this NPC about 5 times and checking on your faction then. She does spawn in Lavastorm, she is allied somehow with the goblins there, she does give Deepwater knight faction, you will be able to kill her easily, along with her woman of a pet, and shes NOT that rare. If you cant find her, use Sense the dead and find her pet. If you dont sense anything, wipe out a few "goblin warrior"'s camps and then check back another 7ish minutes. GL all

If you did kill her when you used to amiable in Paineel, and now you're KOS, you could go to the west freeport docks and camp Bait Masterson a few times to see if it reverses it. I don't know how large a faction hit killing Bait will give you, but he is nice and out of the way of the guards, and only lowers faction with certain Erudin groups (e.g. Deepwater Kights). He spawns only during the day on the shore next to the island in the west freeport bay, and he's probably between level 25 and 30 (blue to a level 34).

If you want to keep your faction in Paineel do NOT kill her!!!!! Im a Erudite Necro, I used to be amiable to all in Paineel(the heretics). One day in LS I got bored and decided to play around the gobbie camp where she was standing. The gobbie agroed my pet, then she agroed me. I thought it was cute. The green chick attacking the lvl 33 or 34(dont remember) necro...I blew it off and concentrated on the gob....until of course she meleed me for some hefty damage. Lifetapped her to let her know to step off. Went back to gob, couple seconds later I noticed my hp was down to 2 bubs!!!! OMG....so do I take the faction hit or run and zone? ...hp draining, I dot lifetap her and run. Just before I hit the zone to Najena I turned around and said...no, Im goin to kill her for this. And I did...well as I said before...I USED to be amiable in Paineel, I went back there after that incident, that ONE negative hit to Heretic faction...Hykallen must be very popular because to this day from that ONE hit, Im kos in Paineel, everything is ready to attack. She is a MASSIVE faction hit, and as one of the other posts said, she's massively "good" for the other ones.

I must have killed her like 4 times in a group. When I got back to Freeport that day, I conned the bait masterson guy (deepwater knights faction) he went from dubious to kindly to me (halfling druid) I conned the rest of the erudite casters and they were also kindly.

Conned white to me at 16..took us out fast. Logged off and went to my 50 druid and killed her with 1 spell..dropped a rusty longsword only.

I used my level 20 rogue since she was blue and pet was green, I took out pet and (with regeneration) attacked Hykallen, I got her low life, then she lifetaps me over and over again, so a level 28 friend jumps in and he dies, I survive and all for what...4silver 3copper.....
