lord shin spawns in the orc camp closest to nek zone, in the legos spot .
his lvl range is 18 to 22, the 22 version is very hard to kill, took out my 13 lvl twinked monk in no time, our full party did manage to kill him but he hits hard 40ish,

This orc can appear inside the tents in the orc camp nearest to the Nektulous forest border. He's a bit higher level than the other orcs, and should be treated with caution by people hunting those orcs.

He's got a rusty sword, some rawhide armor and a few gold peices - what's the big deal about this guy that when someone shouts that he's spawned, everyone in the zone makes a beeline to his camp?
As for him being tough - wouldn't know - everytime the poor SOB sticks his head out of his tent, I watch him get anihilated by a dozen spells and every tank in the zone - I don't think I've seen him last longer than 10 seconds.

Seriously the NewB's that work the tents in EC can't possibly take him so its HI-levs that pass through that courtesy wipe him so they can keep camping orcs the rest of the night i dunno how it would be if no HI-levs came through and waxed shin ree for the NUB's camping orcs. Wed prolly never be the level we are now.

Quite Simple, the good ol' Lord Wipes the floor with every NewB in the zone until. Happen on Xegony a while back at an off hour (like 3 or 4 central time). Happened to be on my way to Nek and saw a lot of naked newb's running round screaming how this Shin Ree guy was killin' them all. So I go to camp, find this guy beating the snot out of some poor newb that thought it would be a good idea to try and get his corpse. Being a lvl 25 enchanter at the time, Ree was blue to me. Anyway, called up my pet, Tashed and Chaos to get him off the newb (who then decides it's a good idea to take get the rest of the orcs in the camp involved.) Ree falls to my pet(who might have lost maybe 10% of it's health). Lewt sucked, but I owed Shin Ree one (or two)

I was killing orcs for some faction, and he jump on me while I was in the camp, so my pet jumped on him. Then I noticed he had a name, so I blasted him for 395 damage, he stood through that but not for too much longer. None of the other orcs would agro unless I sit down. He only dropped df shoulder pads. Couldn't guess on his level, but obviously tougher than the rest.

Thinking this guy was a little beefier then the Legos and Cents I pulled him into my small group of 10s and 11s (none were healers). We sliced and diced all we could but he dropped us one by one till I was the last man standing, then it was lights out for me. I will be back for Lord Shin Ree!

Okay but seriously, you ought to feel sorry for this guy. Lord Shin Ree is the ruler of about 12 orcs at any given time, and all of them can be wiped out by two groups of newbies.... Not to mention that the East Auctionlands, er I mean the Commonlands are the financial capital of the world on many servers. Does Shin Ree really think that he can fight his way through a few dozen 50+ people who have taken down 3/4 of the dragons in the game? Does he even expect to make it past the main gate in Freeport? You gotta wonder about these things.
Why are the orcs even considered threats to the city? Hmm...

the people were small but there were many of them and think about it if you are almost dead say down to 25 hp and 25 orc pawns spawn and each hit you once before you can cast your strongest AoE spell then you must retrieve your corpse .....think about that next time you watch an orc pawn run by you don't laugh at it damnit kill it

Ummm the guards are lvl 50-51 or so at the gates BECAUSE it will make sure that KOS Evil Races will not enter. The entire thing with the Orcs os about the story line of whats going on around FP and the EC Residents. But, howeer, I do find the entire thing with the FBSS funny seeing as EC is such hell when walking through if you dont have /auc turn off.

He is pretty hard even at 30 I couldn't get him tuanted off me but I killed him and he gave exp.

We killed him Lastnight. He was pretty rough and coned red to a party of 10 - 12 players. Took him down though. No item spawn of note.

Well - my measely party of level 10-11's took him on thinking he was just a slight bit beefier orc - needless to say he killed all of us. This guy is tough. Unless you can take a few rounds of being hit in the 40-50's, stay away.

The only things I've seen him drop are Legionnaire Shoulderpads, rusty weapons, and once in a blue moon some coins. I was in a double group that lost 9 out of 12 people before he finally went down. Highest level was 12, so give us all stupidity points for even trying. :)

When I was a baby shaman of 23rd level, I am very sure he conned yellow to me. Perhaps he was toned down in level since I conned him then.
Now I'm level 52 and still waiting for that glorious day when he will die by my hands. :)

I was logged in as my Level 10 Warrior Genrok last night (Tuesday 26th September). The group I was part of took down countless orc cents and legos until Lord Shin Ree arrived on the scene. Whilst debating wether to take him and finally deciding to, a lego spawned along with a couple of cents, too late the battle was engaged. Everyone fought valliantly. All concentrated on the mighty Orc Lord, and two of our team fell, thier loss was mourned.
After the Lord took out our leader he started to run and me (Genrok) and one other took him down. It wasnt easy.
I would like to thank the members of the group last night (in no particular order) : Aalana, Gooneslayer (fellow Lord killer), Maelae (Group leader)((Spelling)) and one other, whose name escapes me at the moment. I thank you all. Last night was the BEST group experience I have had in this game.

Well I had my first encounter with this brute last night on Tarrew Mar. I've hunted the Orc camps in EC for a long time with different characters and this is the first time I had ever seen him. My group had just left and I hung around the empty camp waiting for something to kill when I saw an orc spawn in the tent. Thinking it was a Cent or Lego at best I charged in for the pull. Boy was I surprised to find this big brute chasing me back to the pull spot. (I'm a level 10 Iksar Monk (untwinked)). I preseeded to lay the smack down!!! Luckly a Druid guildmate was nearby to supply SLS and heals. I had no idea what level this guy was, I just knew he was RED and hitting my for 40+. It took a long time but I finally killed him, and I had the special previalge of kicking his butt from behind as he tried to make a run for it. Boy was I shocked to find out what level he was. Got a good half bub exp from it. Nice finish to a long camp.

I've seen Shin Rhee a few times at Orc 1, the camp closest to Freeport. But I certainly haven't been able to pin down a spawn pattern. Best I can tell, Camil, he's random.

If your gonna take this guy, be sure all tanks HAVE a dmg shield on em, It makes it SOOOOOO much easier to kill, he double attacks or duel wields (which ever) and that extra 8 dmg from the shield adds up in the long run. A group ofg mine had a druid who casted dmg shield on all us tanks, we took him out in about 4-6 mins. He spawned later, only this time the druid didn't dmg shield out tanks, it took 7-9 mins just to take him down. Oh BTW i was a 12 monk, and we had a 11 pally, and 11 sk, and a mag and nec pet as tanks both times. SO if your gonna take shin out be sure to have some sort of damage shield, =0

I was omw to Freeport and I stoped to buff up some of the newbies there and Noticed someone hiting me as I left. I though it was just another dumb orc but when I coned him he was blue to me.
He was pretty easy to kill, Only took about 5 or 6 Careless Lightings.

Im a ranger of the 23rd season and last night i noticed Lord on my tracking. I ran over to the orc camp to see what he was all about when he attacked me. He was a high blue to me and for the most part a easy fight but he did hit hard. Make sure your life is full and you drag him away from the oracles when fighting.

beat him tonite with a group of 9-13 we had a bard 10 shadow knight 11 cleric 10 druid 9 shaman 13 and magician 10 had to of been at least 19 resisted all of shamans spells. the bard, shadow knight, skel pet, water pet, shaman and magician whacked him while the druid me and cleric healed we lost the shadow knight towards the end and the bard was down to a bubble before he ran. It was a glorious battle

I know I was a bit low level to take him, 12, but we had a bunch of people in the level range and could not get spell of at him. He resisted everything we had and we meleed him down to about 1/4 life before he killed us off, a group of 5 or 6.

this guy is pretty rare i saw him when i was on 30 and i killed him really easy but i have fought orcs fom 8-15 and i never saw him before so i think hes a pretty rare spawn

Im a lvl 20 Twinked druid and this guy conned blue to me so i attempted, i killed him but he drained ALL my mana and all i got was a raw hide mask and a couple silver. I had LOTS of mana i might add.

I do not think he is alway 21st level - perhaps 17-21. I was able to solo him with my 19 Pally he conned blue.. He did not give me a whole lot of trouble. However, I was weilding a ghould bane and was doing a considerable amount of damage to his sorry orc butt. His loot sucks - all i've ever heard anyone one get from is is a few gold at most.

This guy is pretty tough. Had a full group of 10-14 th lvl (common lvl for hunting orc camp1 in east commons). I used all my mana another wizard all they'res blasting him, warrior pounding on him and he took us all out....ugggg

This guy is easy max hits for 28 and that is rarely get a warrior to stand behind him and one in front and he will keep turning around and not fighting me and my friend both lvl 11 warriors took him out in 3minutes this way
