hes more surprising than hard. Was at about 8% hp one day from goofing around with a friend while we waited for his visiting priestess to spawn when this guy agros me, gren at 53 and I seriously was surprised how much damage he can do. But once you stop goofing around and actually fight him, he drops fairly quickly
I killed him tonight and he had a "small cloth shirt" on him (Slot CHEST, AC 4, WT 0.8, Class All, Race Elf HIE DEF DWF HFL GNM FRG, Size MEDIUM.) He was level 35. I don't doubt he drops other stuff and that it's random, just posting what I saw and experienced. =)
I just met this guy in person finally (he always casts something on me when i go upstairs, the prick), and he conned even and threatening to a 35 and his pet blue. So his level is too high and his pet is too low. Ok.../flame on!
Im a 39 Half-Elf Ranger, and this guy cons dbtm. I came across him and he immediately aggroed...his pet, however, conned indifferent to me as he was attacking me :/ Any-who, I had a VERY difficult time hitting him...thank the gods his root didn't stick. Careful with this one!
Killed this guy as a lvl 44 pally in a very tough fight (i had about 150hp left) and all he dropped was necromancer blood. Still, I was able to kill the knight for the bloodstained tunic i came for.
He conned LB to me as a 52 Ranger. So, I figured I am gonna whoop him. He rooted me, yeah...it stuck on me at level 52, then nuked and dotted me to death. He ain't no joke.
I'm a 31st season human paladin of Erollisi Marr and when I stumbled onto him the first time, I was relieved to find out this red-con was dubious to me. I would pretty much ignore him and walk around the floor looking for undead to kill.
However, when I went near him with a wood elf ranger in my group, he ignored me as usual and aggroed on the ranger who was following me. Apparently some religions, classes, or races must be offensive to him.
We ran out of there, not only because he was red to both of us but because I didn't want the faction hit for killing him. If he becomes worse than dubious, he'll keep bugging me while I'm on that floor; this will make it tough to meditate there since invisibility vs undead doesn't hide me from him.

hes not that great me a 30 warrior and a friend also a 30 warrior with some good equiptment took his out pretty easily...one thing is if hes killing you once you get out of the house he will not follow!
i took this guy out without losing even a buble of hp,he cast fear a few times, but only feared me once, i resisted his DOT's and wacked the **** out of him, so yea, he's not that hard

i have found that if you kill Khrix (ignoring the pet), you can back away from the pet when Khrix dies and the rest of the skelles and ghouls will finish off the pet...did this while in wolf form of course...

Posted:Aug 19 2001 at 1:26 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My guild raided Unrest Friday and me, a level 33 Shadow Knight, a level 37 Enchanter and a level 45 Cleric owned his booty. I tanked Krix's pet fairly easily and just got healed every now and then from the cleric, the enchanter just nuked, didn't even need to mez, and all the cleric did was heal. After the pet bit the dust, i ran over and Harm Touched Krix and then the Chanter gave him a few nukes, and then i whacked him a few times and he died. I resisted all of his magic, which was pretty good considering he was 2 levels higher then me. The only spell he hit me with was 1 160dd poison spell, but that was it. He tried fearing me like 20 times. Our guild owned Unrest...
This Gnome is tough. First time I saw him I opened a door and there he was. He didn't attack and conned red to me as a level 28 Paladin. Went about my business collecting the Ghoul's Heart for the GB Quest pulling the crazed Ghoul's from the 2nd floor with almost no problems. I returned to help a friend of mine complete the GB Quest with my Paladin at level 34. Several groups fighting up there and as I waalk up the stairs BAM! Fear, then Engulfing Darkness. Pet starts whacking me as he casts a Poison spell for 160 DD! I don't know why he started killing me this time. Could be the other groups had him ticked off, could be faction thing. Whatever it was beware! Gather a group to kill him as he is one tough nut to crack.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
Aayden Fidelis Paladin of Tunare Torvonnilous Server

Apparently, he doesn't mind dwarven clerics. As a level 33 cleric, I accidentally opened the wrong door to find him just behind it. Scared the copper outta my bag! I didn't get a chance to con him before I took off in the other direction, but he didn't follow. Dunno why. Maybe he doesn't mind followers of Brell as much as followers of Tunare.
I ran upstairs just for the heck of it. Im a lvl 21 paladin and he began casting spells on me. i got down the stairs when he feared me. he didnt follow me. i unfeared and just continued on my merry way. I guess he doesn't move? His spell hit me for 180 pts of DD.

Well I was walking in the house with invis to the undead. Wanted to look around at all the niffty creatures. I was of the 30th circle, so I figured I was okay. I was looking in the rooms and finally opened one near the stairs. I saw this cute little fellow. "Ummm....Wrong room. Sorry" was what I said, slowly backing away. BAM! Root. BAM! His pet was beating me up as he stodd their blasting me like a brownie does.
