Random number generation was kind to me tonight and spawn Lord Sviir more time than the regular evil eye placeholders over a 3-hour span. Same for Lord Syrkl his pal that spawns at the throne/altar as well.
Ironically, for the level I was fighting them at, I would have preferred the regular eyes as they hold the drop I wanted to and are much safer kills (for me at least).

Some Updated info on the evil-eyes. 7min time spawn, even the named ones.

Thes guys drop gems, various vendor trash, and of course the Polished Bone Bracers. After about 2 hours camping these things i will have about 4 or 5 PBBs and then go and sell them. It's a good way to make PP in the early 30s and even at higher levels. For me it only takes one nuke and they are toast.

I just tried to solo this guy tonite with a 27 sk. He conned drk blue. I didn't have a pet cause I was out of bone chips but I was full mana and full health. It was the longest fight I've ever been in solo and I didn't kill him. He will blind, charm, nuke, and fear you. I know cause he did all of these to me. BTW, he completely healed himself while I was charmed. Tuff character. After my fear broke I headed for the zone cause I was down to 2 bubs. Will try again with pet but will prolly suffer the same results.

He also dropped a polished bone hoop. Earring +10 mana all/all. Nothing fancy =/
Hehe, after the patch it's quite a useful item, since it adds the focus effect Mana Preservation I. It'll probably worth more now that it has the effect on.

I just fought him (conned the new "light blue"). I'm a lvl 30 druid. Is that right? would he con light blue 8 lvls below me?

I looted that today as well, i had camped these guys a great deal a while ago and had never seen it drop. I'd assume it came in with Luclin, and as its lore no drop and useless, its for a quest.

A mage in your mid 20's can easily solo Lord Syviil without your pet. In fact it's probably better if you do go without your pet so that you don't have to deal with the possibility of the pet getting charmed and coming back to whack on you. With the lvl 24 shock of blades spell, it usually only takes 2 or 3 hits on the Lord evil eyes to kill them. Oh and another tip would be to hit them right away when they spawn so that they don't have time to summon their pet.
I believe mages lower than 24 can easily solo the Lord eyes without pets as well, it'll just take more casts to do so.
Finally, as mentioned before, keep that magic resistance up!!!

Camped this guy last night, here's some of the facts...
Exactly 6 min RL spawn time from when he dies last.
He occasionaly has a normal evil eye for his PH, but it was less then 25% of the time for us and we killed him about, oww, 14-16 times.
He dropped the PBB's on the first and fourth kill... then never dropped them again for the rest of the two hours we were there.
He spawns, when facing the throne, on your left side. Mind you when you enter the throne area your facing it's back, so your have to run around the other side for that direction to be accurate.
also as a side note his buddy (lord s somthing) spawns opposite him on a 6 minute spawn timer too... however he was PH by an evil eye far more (i'd say 40-50% of the time)
Hmm what else... to not get charmed bring a HIGH mr. I was camping with a 19 druid, a 48 monk, and a 48 necro... and the Monk actually got charmed twice. Didn't last long... but the possibilities would have been nasty. Fortunatly at the time the necro had logged out and i was charmed too so he didn't attack me.
Also VERY rarely (i'd say 1-2 time the whole 2 hours tops) a wandering evil eye will float on by. Well this wasn't much trouble for our group (lets put it this way, a 48 monk can kill these things before a druid can even finish casting shield of barbs on him) i could see how a group of say 4-6 folks in the 25-30 range could face real difficulites.
Ah and lastly level. He is never 19. He never conned black to me. He's more in 20-21 range, as he also never conned red to me so i doubt the 22.

you dont need a full group. you can soloy this guy if you are a solo type caster like mage(me) necromancer, druid . but its best if you use a necro or mage. all you dois send pet let pet hit em when pets under 7-% you start nukkin him if he has 400hp thats really nothing lvl 25 spells do around 160-175 with full mana all you need to waste is 4 spells. Each spells takes up about half a bubble so you would only waste about 2 bubs no need fo full group unless your in your ver low 20's or high teens

Are the Optic nerves a rare drop? I camped this guy for about 2 hours once and didn't get them. Got the PBB though.
hehe the nerves are frequent... i got one each 5kill or so.... but they look like rat whiskers.... they are hard to see in the loot window, almost same colour as the background for me.... kill more of em, and inspect loot window you ll get your nerves

He has somewhere around 400 HP's cuz it took me 3 DD's of 174 with my mage to kill him. Also, if you go there with a level 14 or so mage/druid with the anti-summoned spells, you can kill red ee pets very easily, and get great exp, cuz they have such low life. Granted, no loot, but great exp.

um what is easier is get a Mage and a wizzy or Druid or some nuker of some type. Nuke the thing to death, it has very few HPs like 300 or something. And mage pet or druid fights pet cause two or 3 lvl 20 nukes should kill him quickly

2. have caster use non meelee weapons (ie skull of jhen`tra and testament of vanear)
3. Have caster DD or dot the Evileye
4. wait for caster to get charmed
5. have tank kill evil eye pet
6. then go after the evil eye itself
7. You the tank are happy and you can whack the caster a couple times if you are bored, and wait until charm breaks and then you will be happy

wow, you and your guild don't have very good luck, i left with 5 pbb's after about 3 hours soloing one of the eye spawns.

killed this guy and Sykl a total of like 150 times we revieved many nervs/stalks and the good stuff was 17 Polished Bone hoops, 7 Polished bone bracers !! 31 silver pendants various minor gems up to jade.
