I think these guys were responsible for all the deaths in our raid to get Ranger epic drops: they have a nasty AoE dispell which rips off a large number of buffs. One also kept trying to steal my mana (resisted every time with about 180 MR), so I Mind Wracked its mana to my group instead... bwahaaa :).
Best tactic that worked for us was to let the pets tank while casters nuked it down: nukes could be cast outside AoE range and while the AoE stripped pet haste buffs that's much better than having to rebuff an entire raid.

Does this guy drop belt of tranquility for monks? the one like contention and pine with the haste? i am a 54 monk and i am wondering where i can get a tranquility belt, it doesnt say on the post for belt of tranquility itself

These mobs can be as high as 55. And often are.
53 is minimum level.

these drop some pretty bad *** belts, one for every class... too bad it'll be a while before i get one even though i am high enough now to go to PoA

You're high enough to go to the zone, but that doesn't quite mean you're high enough to kill here. Every mob is 50+, with most being red at 50.
If you want to explore this zone a little, I encourage you to do so. I had to go up here to camp the book for the enchanter epic and it was rather strange being in a zone, by yourself, for 19 straight hours. I urged my guild members to keep talking to me so I wouldn't fall asleep :P
