The 'a sand pile's will despawn after a short while if they have no-one on aggro and the genati is dead.

Killed him a few nights ago about 7 or 8 ppl on Cazic. Was roaming near the pillar at zone in to the Foundation. Wiped us twice till we got the jist of him. had a bard mez the adds, and we just sorta burned him down. His aoe is rough right off the start, but if you can survive that and keep the adds he spawns under control he's reasonly easy. Didn't get the chance to see if being back a certain distance for casters or being behind walls keeps you from geting hit with aoe.

Dropped ring and a Clay for legs, dont remember the clays name but i'll post it after I ask the looter.

We did him without any CC tonight, in T6/7/MM gear. I would, uh, advise against it. It took us multiple tries. It would have been easy with CC, but sucked badly without it. We haven't done the aoe fear named yet, but of the other probably 7-8 named we have killed in T6 and T7 so far, this guy was definitely the hardest without CC. (Substantially harder than, say, the aoe mez named.)

The first add spawns a couple seconds after engage. The rest spawn at 80-60-40-20-5, or shortly therafter. We burned through 20%/5%, and just killed the last two adds afterwards. The adds have less HP than normal trash mobs, but still a lot. They definitely do less DPS than a normal trash mob, though.

Ring of the Planar Explorer dropped off this mob in The Foundation. He also litters the place with mobs called "a sand pile" and they too are nasty.
Underquarry mob

This mob was definately in Underquarry.

During beta, A Sand Genata spawned in foundation, but I cannot confirm this since Underfoot went live.
