On Death: "Higoren roars his last, and settles to the ground, dead."
Higoren is found in the SW room of the minotaur mines (on the bump to the east of the room). Higoren appears only to spawn when someone doing the Kicking Tail task walks near this spot in the room. After his death, there is a 6 minute pause before he can be triggered to spawn again.

He's . . uh . . assassinateable.
I wasn't expecting that. Right behind him (naturally) with a 76 rogue and nothing else aggroed. Mid-room wanderer was in his furthest spot when I got him, he moves around about every twenty seconds.
Just had to share.

Just for clarification, The minotaur mines are not in back of the minotaur fort. They're South of the windmill from where you pop in from Guild Hall portal.
He also drops

Tried the stand on the rocks trick and he took off across the room and dragged everyone back on us. I recommend clearing out the adds first... when you enter the room you'll get three minos at the same time, and then you can get the last two without adding Higoren himself

Standing just behind that rock I was able to pull only him with a bowshot. Probably some luck involved with it.
He conns blue at 73
Invis is a good idea to get to this mob. He is in the far SW end of tunnels just on the north end of the turn. (near the -1000 mark on map but oppisite corner of there)
If you go up behind him you will get 2 adds along with him. Kill him first then the adds. They run around 20% hp. He did not summon us. Either invis or clear rest of room, about 3 more mobs. 85 warrior & 77 shaman took them down with no porblems.

Just attacked him after clearing his room, and mino's came at me from everywhere. Mysterious fear agro or its just supposed to be like this, im not sure.
When you go into his room get up on the rocks behind him. I did this today and only got 1 add. Killed him with 77 wizard with tank merc and 70 ranger with cleric merc. Was a push over. Quest is easy and the disguise looks awesome!
Immune snare, dont flurry, enrage or anything nasty.

killed him with 72 necro war pet tanking, tier 1 journyman cleric & my 75 necro self/merc buffed pet- agro weapons and 3 pieces of pet armor. Clear the room first, his pathing is horrible.
