Ok, I did this at lv 35 and did waste a couple of invis potions, but however the case, here's what happened to me: I went the whole way to his spawn point invised. Then he aggroed on me. Had also around 5 more goblins on me (all green except him). When I got out of the water tunnel, I cast an AE fear spell to let the goblins run. Sludge resisted, and at that moment I gated to the zone line to Misty Thicket (was binded there). I sat down to med a bit thinking that chances would be that if Sludge came up, he'd pull a train of half of Runnyeye. =P Much to my surprise, he was the only one that bothered to go up all the way. =P Almost rooted him to death with my Warden Symbol of Tunare, and having a Centi Warhammer, finished him off (though he was light blue to me, he did manage to leave me with less than 40% hp. =P Hope this helps...

he spawns in middle of fountain underwater in the area near bank and lord pickclaw spot

I have been hunting in Runnyeye for three nights now and never has this guy not been on my track. Which means he has always been up while I was there so yes he does spawn after the patch and no he isn't very hard to find. Also I have killed the slime elemental and he is almost always on track to.

Was down there hunting for some Blackened alloy for my tank and I never saw him, I kept checking the well and never saw him or the Cube in 3+ hours of adventuring.

we took him out last night and i got the icon. he is located in the star shaped well in the fountain in front of the bank. all i did was jump over onto the well from the edge of the fountain and look down and there sludge was. my group was fighting some of the lesser gobs in the bank area and i turned to help them when one of sludges pals smacked me in the back pulling him and the gelatinous cube out into the fray. our group was 2 30 lvl cleris and 2 upper 20's paladins. the clerics of course wasted NO time in dropping sludge to make sure we could loot him, then we slowly took out the rest of the area. the cube prolly lasted longer than any single gob but i dont recall any special loot on it that time. the other cleric had me loot the icon in mid fight just in case we had to gate and come back for the pally bodies later. we walked out to the ent and prepared for the patch that was coming in 10 min and so i dont know respawn rate on sludge but i owe fenom an icon so hopefully tonite we will know respawn time :)

Sludge is on a 2 hour spawn clock. He spawns directly at the bottom of the well. While you're waiting for him, I suggest keeping the jello cube dead so that you don't have to deal with both of them at once.

Its also been known that he drops a BI totem (rare)

Theres a funky well near goblin bank.... he's at the bottem. watch out for the 20th lvl Gel Cube down there though!

Anyone know where sludge spawns in runnyeye?
